Probably the best Portuguese Spot I have ever been to! Hospitality was very welcoming and sweet! THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND JUICY! Usually it is very difficult to make chicken breast juicy but this spot nailed on the spot! The Hot peri peri sauce was just fantastic! Rice was cooked well and potatoes steaming hot. Finished the meal of with a Portuguese Custard Tart, Was so flaky and the custard was so creamy and flavourful! Definitely deserved my 5-Star! I will be back again with more friends and family!
Used to be a regular customer here, once or twice a week, but will no longer be. I ordered a family meal with a large side of pri pri sauce clearly specified no hot sauce on the chicken so my toddler could eat when I got home, I opened the bag and could smell the hot sauce. Opened the container and the chicken was covered in hot sauce. Pictures attached and you can see the sauce as well as a few chilli flakes. I called the restaurant to tell them what happened and the lady on the phone straight out called me a liar. I asked for a cell number to send the pictures. When I did she still argued and said I can Uber eats a second order. When I explained to her I will not be doing that as my original order was not fulfilled due to a restaurant error, they had the audacity to say the hot sauce brush was not used continuing to call me a liar and hung up on me. Will never return due to terrible customer service and lack of basic personable communication.
My favorite Portuguese Chicken franchise. Their flavours are good and the staff is friendly. Very clean establishment.
I've frequented this location since it opened in 2015 or 2016. They get your take out order wrong/incomplete every. single. time. The posted hours of operation are never correct, they leave and close up early. My brother and I got severe food poisoning from their chicken on May 17, 2017. It took me until 2021 to be able to eat it again and my brother still isn't able to. The prices recently increased and the portions decreased. They're the only Portuguese chicken restaurant that charges extra for the sauce. A month ago I placed a phone order and when I went to pick it up it didn't exist. Had to place it again and wait another 25 minutes. In spite of all of this I continued going there as it's 3 minutes from home and I like the sauce and salad. That is until now. I ordered 2 combos which came to $50, including a tip for take out. One meal was completely inedible, legitimately what other restaurants would throw in the garbage. When we very politely called the restaurant to notify them and ask if we could bring it back and exchange it and the manager went off. She refused to let the caller speak, yelled over him when he did and said "it's absolutely not true, the cook wouldn't do that but if it was like that, too bad, that's the way it is". It was the most ludicrous response I've ever heard from anyone in service/hospitality and I was a wedding planner for 10 years. She's an absolutely horrible manager and human being. I'm under the impression it's family owned and operated which would explain why she thinks she can treat other people this way. Save yourself a lot of grief, time and money and go to Aurora for Portuguese chicken or even Swiss Chalet where 4 people can eat for $40.
I went there two get two chickens on a Wednesday maybe because the place ain't busy. Not sure but the chicken was reheated. I got home and the chicken was cold dry and it felt like I was eating rubber on certain parts of the chicken. I've been eating this Portuguese chicken my whole life. I know what reheated chicken is like. And they say no. There's not a person on this world that doesn't know what reheated chicken taste like
I ordered the rib combo and the ribs were nothing but bone, gristle, and so tough you could not chew into them. I phoned them, and they said thats the way they are, and too bad. Avoid this place like a plague! I'll tell everyone I know, to never go there.

House white wine was delicious. Chicken was good but the white meat was very dry. Ribs were a little dry too but flavour was good. It was good for the price and I will be back to eat again.
I would put zero stars if I could. I used to be a regular here however lately they have managed to consistently get worse. My latest experience was today august 2022. I walked in with my wife and stood behind the counter for over for 5 minutes while the older lady working behind the counter was on the phone.... Great, no problem I guess. We continued to wait and when she finally finished she took our order which came out to approximately $75.00.. we like to mix and match chicken and salad and potatoes instead of going for the rice etc and I prefer slices my wife prefers the half chicken so we finally get our order in and then the lady says "to go right".. My response was no my wife was already sitting at the table... she then says "No, its not enough for you to eat in"..... you have to order from the left side of the menu.... but the combos are 18$ so I;m still confused how her math adds up... anyways we left.. If that is their policy it might be wise to lead with "Are you eating in or taking out? If you are eating in the menu is on the left" So disappointed. Will not be coming back.
