Red Lion Inn & Suites Federal Way

If i could post zero stars I would have. This place was horrible. I stayed one night and would never stay one night more. The horrible manager Carmen was followed by an even worse manager Angela who had even worse customer service skills. I was charged for a pool key I was never even given just too find out my daughter was too short too use the pool slides, which was the whole reason we decided to stay at this Red Lion. No where on the website or anytime during check with the hotel manager did they say there was a height restriction. Then when I returned my keys in the morning when I mentioned that too Angela she preceded too tell me my daughter was too young, and what kinds of mother was I too let her try something so dangerous(even though on check in I plainly stated the only reason I was there was so my daughter could use the slides and carmen even asked how old she was but didn't mention she couldn't use the slides) . Needless too say this place was a waste of money and ill never stay here again. Ill encourage everyone I know too never stay here. This place was horrible.

Anything you would need on your trip you can get it in a 10min. walk from the hotel. Like Walmart, food, hair, nails, fitness, banking and much more. The hotel is in a great spot to walk to anything you need. If your not busy at the water slides all day. Plus they have a convenience store in the lobby and great hot Continental breakfast. Great for weekend get away.

The only saving Grace for this place is the breakfast and attentive breakfast staff. The two women dealing with check in and check out in the early morning are absolutely awful. We were forced to change rooms completely just by adding another night to our stay. The worst part of the stay was the pool. We checked in and went to the pool to find it full with literally 50+ people. People were climbing over people just to move around the pool, hot tub had 13 people in it. My wife the kids and I turned around and went to Seattle for the day instead. So much for this hotel!

Rooms were adequate for the price. Great quality shampoo!! Breakfast was hot eggs, sausage, and waffle machines along with all the regular cold things--very cool. Here's my reason for only 4 stars: pool was cloudy, hot tub was foamy, and the "life guard" was reading a book. But the water slides we're fast and fun!

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly,the company is very good,met lots of new friends,the hotel is practically like a destination in itself! I actually just live accross town and wanted a quick getaway! Will do again! 5 stars
