RBC Royal Bank

As another person mentioned .. I've been depostiign my paycheck for over 5yr .. 5yr with the same company and not one had a check bounce or not clear.. Never had any problem..until 2 weeks ago this eastern European lady tells me that it's a 5days hold.after long debate with a manager I was able to get 50% of my check.. 2 weeks later same lady gives me the same lie and when asked why I've never had any problems with other tellers she just swithed subject.. So I took my check and today I went to a diff branch..and as you can guess.. no questions asked.. No hold.. Cheque cashed in full.. That's lady needs to get over her self and learn what customer service is instead of blindly following guidlines..

Wow this place is really slow. Tellers are there but say someone else will help you! I'm always in a lineup for more than 20 minutes minimum. Friendly service but way to slow

Terrible service. Long lines. I've been depositing cheques from my own business to my RBC account for over 5 years now without a hold back and recently was informed by the teller that the new RBC policy was that there was an automatic 5 day hold on all cheques. So the next month I deposited my cheque at the Nanimo branch and what do you know... No such policy exists. Meaning that the teller lied to me. They won't be getting my mortgage and business banking. Bye bye RBC.

I got really good service here from my banker, and there's free parking as well.
