Makes you wait for an hour or more. Not worth your time.nnThey are always short on stuff and they just chat with customers rather than solving the problem quickly.nnBetter to come on appointment only.

Never answers their branch phone. Leaves the mailbox full so you can’t leave a message. Lies to seniors when they bring in a bank draft for deposit and tells them they can’t lift the hold on the funds for 4 business days which turns into a week waiting and they have no control over it, which is a straight up lie. I have been specifically told by a bank manager at my other bank and by the RBC client rep on the phone that it is the branches choice on how long they hold it for, and they can waive the time if they so choose. Advised me to go to the bank to discuss. I’m out of province so my elderly mother went back in, and they lied to her face. I’ve been banking with them for 30+ years and never once pulled anything with my accounts. There is a reason I went elsewhere for my main banking.

Poor customer service attitude, I get more enthusiasm from the automated drive through,nCame in with no line, so i was the first and only person in line, there were 3 clerks obviously with some paperwork/task they were entering into their computers. All 3 ignored me, and never looked up to acknowledge my presence to tell.me it would be a moment or w.e.nnI just stood there like a moron lol, for what felt like a good while, looking around, thinking to myself that banks were more inviting growing up, what they're typing thats so important and why their debit machine is down which is why I needed to come inside in the first place.nnFinally i was greeted by a lady, whom, not surprisingly, didnt remark at the to me unnecessary wait, her sheer lack of uninterest in the interaction was mirrored by the teller beside her who had at this point, had another customer behind me, who had grown impatient waiting and casually walked up to her.nnI reflect that perhaps I should have done the same.nnI would have like to give 2.5 but It doesnt sit right giving a 3/5

Joe assisted me in opening my business account, and he was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. He provided all the necessary information and guidance clearly and efficiently. I regularly visit this RBC branch — while it can get quite busy at times and some people may find the wait challenging, I recommend staying patient, as the team truly provides excellent service once it’s your turn. Kudos to Joe and all the team members for their great work!

I couldn’t have imagined having an experience this awful with a bank, I signed up for a 400 dollar singing bonus for Christmas gifts and at first my rbc app wasn’t working, no worries understandable, went in waiting in the 25 minute line that never seems to end no matter the time of day, they fixed the issue no worries, this was Monday, Friday comes around and my pay I was waiting for to buy gifts for my 4 year old son and my pay is no where to be found, I do the pay roll at my job I knew it was in correctly, I went into the bank for the second time that week to be met with a teller fighting me telling me in was my works issues. I told her there was no way that was possible, she then made a call and told me that there was a block on the account and it was now removed, my boss then cut me a personal check which I brought back the next day. Then they told me I’d have to wait a week for it as it’s a personal check and they have to hold it for 5 days, I’m such a patient person but this was absurd to me, had to borrow money off my grandmother just to buy my son a couple of lousy Christmas gifts, honestly insulted avoid this bank like the plague
