CIBC Branch & ATM

Customer service was great, when opening an account but every other time it was just next person attitude. I didn't like being called at work and having an aggressive sales person try to lie, deceive and manipulate me into buying insurance and other services. TD bank never did that.

Opened a business account at CIBC central mall Hamilton and worse decision I ever had in my life. Not at all customer friendly. They treat cutsomers as we did something wrong to them.

Opened an account at this bank and attempted to meet with Andria, manager of client experience. She discussed banking matters in the main lobby and at no point offered an office or more private area. She continually spouted the same rhetoric about company policies and did not explain issues when asked direct questions, for example why my account showed excessive bank charges. Her attitude was hostile, rude and unhelpful. I will not be returning to this branch.

Only problem is wait times on Thursdays and Fridays. Only two tellers open when TD makes sure at least four are available on those days for paycheck deposits.

I was dealing with the sudden loss of my mother and her affairs. I began to cry and the mortgage associate Melissa couldn't even offer me a tissue. I became hystarical as she denied I had mortgage insurance and then she started rushing me out of her office. I blurted out at her, "do you honestly expect me to drive like this"? There was no compassion or humanity from her or the other associate in the room. I do not EVER want to return to this CIBC!!!!!! I have never been so humiliated or disrepected especially at such a horrible time of my life.
