Just a background on my family. I served in small and corporate hospitality restaurants for 6+ years. My brother 10+ years, serving and managing. My sister 15+ years as serving and managing. Just came back home from having dinner with my sister, baby niece, and brother. It was actually my first time here, and it was nice and close to home. I thought the waiter was nice, not fast, but a slow speed on a not full restaurant day. Understandable as he had like 7 other tables, the restaurant should probably have more servers on the floor. The servings were actually pretty big, so that was awesome for the price. Down to it though.... My brothers waffle sweet potato fries were not hot, barely warm. I told the server if I could substitute beans for more rice, the food runner brought out beans with rice with a really hot plate, as she told me. I told her I wanted rice not beans, she brought it back. A different host/food runner brought out the rest of my dish along with the fajita plate. The rice wasn’t even warm, but not cold. Just room temperature, not so great. As the person was wearing a oven glove, he tried to set down my fajita plate, the iron slid off of the ceramic plate and headed towards me. Good thing I was wearing a long sleeve sweatshirt, and I pushed back the iron plate towards the table. I also found two shrimps in my chicken fajita, I’m not allergic to seafood, but the kitchen should be careful next time just in case some other person is. I’m kinda disappointed that the food runner nor the server told the manager; or they did but the manager should’ve came by and just checked up on us. My chicken fajita didn’t have enough fajita flavor either...so I’ll have to buy some fajita seasoning and cook it some more at home... 1 star for the server 1 star for the portion size 2 stars total

Service was very good. The food is always good and the wait time isn't bad.I always enjoy going there. Oh and the location is very easy to get to.

Cheap food but very good. Always cheap drinks and they give complimentary chips and salsa. Never had a bad meal here.

Unfriendly waiter, slow lunch service. Food was ok but meat was warm not hot. Probably won't go back.

For starters, they have a blackboard with a "Question of the Day" type deal on it, where if you answer it correctly (What is the Spanish translation of "president": multiple choices), you win a prize (free queso dip). However, the host didn't know the answer, and didn't offer to find out, so we won nothing. No big deal, I guess, otherwise I would have pressed the issue, but still.. Anyway, we went on a Saturday around 5:00 pm, so before any sort of dinner rush. It wasn't busy. You could just about see the tumbleweeds blowing through the restaurant. However, our server was nowhere to be found. The host took our drink orders. The host came back to take our food orders. The runner informed staff of our needed refills. Another member of the staff brought our refills. Our actual server checked on us a couple times after everything had been taken care of, and brought boxes when we were ready to go. The food comes extremely quick, which means it's all pre-made and either reheated or has been sitting on warmers (think cafeteria or buffets) for when an order comes up. The level or doneness of the vegetables is a clear indicator of this—onions are translucent, peppers melt-in-your-mouth tender—qualities not present in the two minutes of cook time they would have had received if actually made to order. None of the food tastes especially good either; from the chips and salsa, up to the main course. The only enjoyable parts of the meals were the drinks, because the margarita I got had quite the kick to it and it's hard to screw up the softdrinks everyone else ordered. Also, their take-home boxes are horrible. They don't close well at all. I honestly only give it two stars because I don't want to "hate" anything, otherwise I'd lean toward one.
