Radimed - West-Island

I am reviewing based on the woman answering the phones today, February 26th at 12:55. Wonderful! I usually get anxiety when calling doctors offices as the staff is usually awful to deal with at most clinics - this woman was amazing and polite. Kudos!!

While they are very efficient and the staff very courteous, they ask you to undress, remove your bra and sit in a waiting room of mixed gender patience wearing a gown open at the back and underwear. No thanks.

Sent radiology request on their website. Received e-mail stating that I had to show up without appointment. Brought the MD's request as a PDF, as received via e-mail from my MD. Was told I could not get an X-ray without a paper copy or faxed copy of request. Bunch of useless bureaucrats. Why do you need a printed copy or fax? Could you not just print the request? Join the 21st century.

Extremely slow. Went in with a possible broken arm and collar bone after a car accident and it took 2 hours. Not because they were super busy but because they were extreme inefficient and incompetent. They don't prioritize patience based on injury. I sat there with 10/10 pain while 2 women sat ahead of me giggling. Zero logic. Radiologist herself was great - reassured and protected me.

This was my first time there. For years, at the previous clinic, I had been using a change room before and after my mammogram. At this clinic, having to undress and dress in front of the technician was a little unnerving and quite unprofessional as a setup. Not sure if I will come back??
