Keep your parking pass and validate it at the front desk, so you only pay 1 dollar on your way out. I recommend taking an appointment but there are walk-in options as well.nI don't like the fact that you need to arrive 20 minutes before your appointment then you still have to wait past your appointment time. Which then sets you back ever more time. About 40 or more minutes easily.

I went here for my nuchal translucency ultrasound, and had to pay out of pocket - even though their website says first trimester ultrasounds are covered by RAMQ. I can get over that. What’s unacceptable is the treatment of the staff, both the receptionist and radiologist. I’ll share my story, make of it what you will. But if you’re feeling vulnerable as a pregnant person, don’t expect any empathy or kindness - in fact, get mentally ready to deal with a group of largely sour, miserable individuals.nnIndeed, we ran 7 minutes late, and I called their team while in the road to let them know. When I arrived, toddler in my arms, the receptionist asked me why I am late roadside collision, and clearly managing my infant, and told me to pass my child to the father so I can focus. I was taken aback by the lack of kindness and judgement - any woman should understand that, even under the best circumstances, sometimes a child doesn’t want to be put down. She then told me I’d have to wait behind another patient, and chastised me again for being late. Once more, 7 minute delay, baby in arms, here for an exam that makes one highly vulnerable and stressed as is.nnMy husband finally joined me and my son, the 3 of us waiting quietly in the waiting room to go for the ultrasound. His joining was a last minute decision, he wanted to see the baby as well - the initial plan was to go by myself with the toddler.nnThe radiologist comes out, sees my son, and tells me she doesn’t allow children in her room because she needs to focus because this exam is clearly akin to brain surgery in complexity. Allow me to say I’ve been to multiple ultrasounds with my child, he’s an angel. But even if he was not, what if I had come alone? What then? My husband and child remained outside - to our great disappointment. Again, first radiologist - and clinic - to say such a thing. And no, there’s no written policy about this.nnAs soon as I entered her room, she asks “do you have a reason for being late”. And proceed to once again remind me that being late makes her life hard etc - as if I’m choosing to be a horrible patient. After being bullied by her receptionist, after having my support system denied access to the room, she just kept going. I had to take deep breaths to stay calm, get the exam done. It took less than 10 minutes. I then proceeded to cry in the bathroom next to her room.nnEvery clinic regardless of whether we pay or not has some grace period. Even if they don’t, patients should be spared the moral lectures, particularly when they are in vulnerable situations. Trust me, ladies, I’m not your enemy and I’m not out to get you. Can you just be human too?nnI tell everyone I know to avoid this clinic if they care about their mental health. Especially if you’re pregnant- trust me, you don’t need their judgement.

Service is terrible and staff could be rude at times and wait times for appointments are outrageous. I went there personally to make an appointment because when I called they had me on hold for 40 minutes, I just gave up and drove there. The receptionist couldn’t give me an appointment she took a copy of my referral and said someone will call me in 4-6 weeks to give me an appointment. So I will be waiting months. I decided to call Clarke Medical Imaging Center on cote des neiges and they answered the phone when I called them and gave me an appointment immediately in 2 weeks and were extremely pleasant. Now that’s service.

Posting this for anyone who cares about operations. After a long day of work I walk in to the clinic that is completely empty, with front desk people idling. The front desk person got aggressive with me because I chose the wrong option at the front kiosk. This is a person who is completely unoccupied, yet somehow couldn't muster the little patience needed to deal with an inconsequential mistakes. This is after me being punted around d the medical system day after day, mistake after mistake, for a broken finger. This isn't alright, we're going through real difficulty while smaller people like this are making it worse. If you care about the Healthcare system, you should fix this.

Was a bit confused with their new ticket system but luckily no one was behind me to make me nervous. Just scan your Medicare card and sit down to wait to be called to the right counter. My technician was really nice and professional.
