It's not normal that we can't get an appointment. You call It's an answering machine telling you to wait and have your Medicare card ready. But you wait. They also say to send an email the patient also needs to organize themselves so no-one answers when you're email is answered it says that the next month schedule is not available yet. !!!!
If I could rate it 0 I would. I would like to know if it is normal or deemed acceptable that my husband has yet to see a cardiologist 4 months post a heart attack Admitted to Lakeshore June 17th with STEMI. All that has been done was a stress test and it took months to get that appointment. And when one was obtained it has since gotten pushed, twice!!! So he still has not had a follow up since he was discharged or after his test that was done in August. Not to mention that no one ever responds when we call or return messages. And I am not exaggerating or being dramatic. We had to drive to the clinic to make our appointment as our first 3 messages went unanswered for 2 weeks. This morning they tried to push his appointment by 2 months! My husband negotiated for Nov. Completely unacceptable. After pushing him already twice surely there was another patient that could be moved, I refuse to believe that there was not. Am I supposed to believe that a patient that has yet to see his doctor or started any sort of rehab is not a priority??? This clinic has to be held accountable to someone. Don’t make all the comments that are said about our health care system be true. And don’t give me the "our resources are limited" excuse, because that is all it is. Excuses. Do not tell me patient care is your number one priority. If it was, this clinic would not be run this way.
The wait can be short or ridiculously long. They implemented a system which lets you go home and come back by texting you but they charge. They need to adapt a system similar to Brunswick medical center. Regarding treatment however I've always been treated well.
I have never seen a so well organized and efficient medical care! It takes time of course because it's quite crowded but worth the wait when needed to get better :
I went for holter tests a month ago because I have Sinus Tachycardia, and it's been a MONTH and I STILL didn't get any results... Are you guys for real? Or do you just like messing with people's lives?? Come on guys, hurry up. Worst medical service ever!
Great center of attention. Please remember to have good manners and collaborate with the clinic care
Long wait lines. All time full. Don't go after 10an
This is a terrible medical center and the new cardiology center is just as bad. Go somewhere else.
People a very nice, it could take a while but worth it.
The service was awesome!
