We are so grateful to have found Andrew and his team of Customized Homecare. They are so caring and passionate about what they do, going above and beyond for their clients. A big Thank you!!

I'm very happy with the service at Customized Homecare. I needed someone to visit my father to provide companionship. He lives in a public nursing home but doesn't have friends or family nearby so he is very lonely. Maggie has been great in communicating with me and finding the right person to come visit my dad. The caregivers have been very attentive and responsible and my dad really enjoys their visits.

I contacted Customized Homecare because my 85 year old Father had fallen off his bicycle and suffered a concussion, he was in hospital for two weeks and for my peace of mind I wanted someone with him through the nights , the Gentleman in the room with him had a few different caregivers with him over the first few days, I noticed how respectful and caring they all were towards him so I asked the young lady who she worked for, she gave me Andrews contact info. In the end I dealt with Maggie, I will be forever grateful to her for her compassion and rapid service. We spoke at 2:00 in the afternoon, that same night I had been sent a wonderful caregiver named Mary Ann to sit with my Father from 11p.m -7 a.m and by 7:30 a.m I had been given an update on how each night played out. Maggie was most definitely a saving grace during a hectic time. I hope to never need these services again, but if I do I will without a doubt choose Customized Homecare again. Tracey St Laurent

Customized Homecare took care of both my aging and ailing parents at separate times. The helpers are conscientious, careful and caring. They are helpful with cleaning and general house tasks but especially attentive to the needs of the person they are taking care of. My schedule has often shifted and this has led to many last minute changes in when I need help. The people at Customized Homecare have been accommodating of this and I appreciate it very much. When I leave, I feel that my father is in good hands. When things have gone wrong, I have been notified quickly and been able, with the person on hand, to come up with solutions. This has been a difficult period for me and my family and Cutomized Homecare has made it much easier which is much more than I can say for most of the services offered by the CLSC. My mother was in a horrible nursing home so the idea of leaving her alone everyday was distressing. Andrew and his team saved the day. My mother was so thankful to have caring people to keep an eye on her and to try to protect her dignity from PAB who really didn't care about the residents. Andrew would check on me regularly and his staff always talked to my mother directly and not down at her. His staff made sure that the nursing home knew that my mother was a person and not a thing. They never hesitated to help with changing her, yo make her more comfortable or yo tell the nurse when my mother was not feeling well. When my mother went into hospital, Andrew visited her in the ER and had members of his staff watch her so that I could get a break and so that I could sleep knowing they would wake me if her condition changed. One even sang to my mother to help her relax while waiting to be seen by the doctor. The whole team goes up and beyond my expectations for care. Have already recommended them to friends with elderly family.

BAD SERVICE. The male who answered my phone call in this company is judgemental, rude, and even hanged up on me. Disrespectful person. Will never call again! Go elsewhere

It is almost 4 years how me and my sister are receiving caregiving services from Customized Homecare for our old and rapidly aging parents. Thanks to instant availability of caregivers and flexibility in numbers of hours, we always had helping hands for parents: either at home, hospitals or residences. We are very grateful to Andrew and his team that we can continue to provide the best care to our parents.

When my mother in law was hospitalized with her dementia getting worst, I had called different companies to get an aid to help my mother in law in the hospital. The reason why I went with Customized Homecare is because Andrew Dufour took the time to explain everything to me as in private old age residence to the public one. He took about 2 hours on the phone with me to reassure me. When my mother in law was moved eventually to an old age home he was there and got us a Italian speaking nurse so my mother in law would not be alone, one of our concerns is to leave her alone although the nursing home was great but they can't be attentive to every patient. My experience with Customized Homecare was amazing, I felt that someone else was there to help us transition through the difficult process of having to place someone in a nursing home. Through out our dealings with him, I found the company to be extremely honest and they educated us with many things we were not aware in regards to different government programs and tax benefits. It's rare to find such an honest and caring business. I would 100% recommend them to anyone dealing with older parents and trying to look out for the best interest.

Mr. Andrew DeFour and his staff have brought a level of professionalism, expertise, kindness, care, respect, reliability and patience that I had only hoped for. People come to such services during the most fragile state and time of their family. During such medically challenging times, I can literally state with complete certainty that Andrew and his staff have added years and quality to my Mother's life.
