Very pleasant and lovely home. Owners were very hospitable. We stayed in the Garden room and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Only negative and it wasn't a big deal: outside and garden needed work.

Qauint 3 story building, great for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. Remodeled bathroom, no TV in Lilac room allows us to detach from the outside. Two blocks from downtown Carlton featuring many wine tasting and artisans food (Cuvee is great!).

For those who enjoy a B&B with lots of local character, it's hard to beat the RR Thompson house. Rooms are comfortable and range from spacious to cozy. Breakfast is varied and always excellent. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking to sample the local vintages.

What a charming home!  Loved staying at the Thompson House.  Located in the heart of Carlton and close to many wineries, this is a great place to get a quiet nights sleep.  The beds were comfortable, the owners helpful and a joy to talk with, we will definitely be visiting them again!
