Not being familiar with the area, we took a chance and LOVED it! We stayed in Flat No. 10 (even though it was way more space than the two of us needed), but really enjoyed being able to spread out. We also felt very safe. Well-appointed and walking distance to great local shopping, tasting rooms, and restaurants. Cute, quaint town. We would return and recommend! Also - we were right next to the construction of the new hotel, but the crew ended promptly at 5. It was not a bother AT ALL.

We stayed in the 4th flat which has generously sized kitchen, lounge and dining rooms however the bedroom is small and the bathroom is tiny, approximately 4.5' x 8' including the shower. The street noise was an issue in the early morning.

Perfect spot to enjoy McMinnville and surrounding wine country. Loved the 4th flat, very stylish, comfortable bed and all the amenities you need. Highly recommend it!

While I do think it is generally a great idea to support locally owned and operated businesses, this place just missed the mark on soo many levels that I strongly feel the consumer should wary of the high rating on trip advisor. It's not often that trip advisor leads me awry but it certainly did in this case. This review is specifically for flat 5 "coco". Here are the most glaring issues with this place. 1. Starting shortly before 5am there is incessant and extremely loud banging and talking along 3rd street either from large delivery trucks or city garbage trucks. This is right outside both bedroom windows of the flat. Even ear plugs won't block out the noises. I've lived in Manhattan with a bedroom facing 34th st, I'm used to some level of street noise but the loud jarring noises here are much worse, which is surprising given this is still a small town. We were here for a relaxing wine country vacation and I was forced to be up every morning earlier than if I had to go to the hospital for work. 2. Probably even worse than the noise was that the owners were dismissive of the problem. Didn't offer to move us to a quieter part of the hotel which was nowhere near capacity when we were there. Didn't even offer earplugs. They basically inferred that it is unfortunate that there is so much noise but to just deal with it. Interestingly part of their house rules warn the customers to be quiet from 11-9, the customers certainly aren't the ones responsible for the noise pollution. 3. I paid 370 a night, which is considerably more expensive than most places in McMinnville. At this price point it is not unreasonable to expect a comfortable, relatively quiet nights rest. Loud banging every morning at 5am isn't shouldn't be included in that rate. 4. As alluded to in other reviews the bathroom is tiny and there are definitely a lack of basic amenities you'd expect at this price point. Just be prepared to bring everything yourself. 5. The stairs leading up to the flat are steep and narrow. No elevator. I'm relatively young, but I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone not able or willing to huff up a long flight of stairs stay here. It was very annoying having to walk up with the boxes of great wine we purchased in the area(can't leave em in the trunk). To summarize, this was an expensive room that doesn't allow restful sleep with owners that don't seem to care about the comfort or satisfaction of their customers. They did absolutely nothing meaningful to try to make the unfortunate situation better. Strict cancellation policy also so I would definitely do your due diligence before considering this place. Perhaps instead of warning their customers to be quiet they should instead warn them of the loud noises they will encounter when staying at their flats. This room was the one bad part of an otherwise awesome wine country birthday trip.
