Kelty Estate Bed & Breakfast

We loved owning the Kelty Estate but the property has been sold and it is no longer a Bed and Breakfast. Thanks for all of the support.

I just recently stayed, for the second time in 2 years, at this wonderful b&b. A group of friends found this place by chance last year and we had a great experience. This year we returned with a few more of our friends. The breakfasts are excellent. Nicci puts everything and more so into them. She is also a wealth of information about the area, where to eat and what vineyards are a must see. This place is a must stay!

To be fair I have to say right off that we did not stay at the B&B, we used their limo service and I would absolutely not recommend it. Hopefully the B&B provides better service than the limo driver. He never showed up to take us to dinner on Friday as planned. Later learned that he could not find the house we rented. He did not bring our contact info. Then the following morning he could not find us again, was nearly 30 min late, and after talking to Nicci at the B&B did he find his way to us. I would have thought if he could not find it the first night he would have made sure he knew where we were at and had been on time. The late arrival put a serious push on our tasting reservations and we never really caught up. We hated being rushed through tastings. He knew where our first winery was but after that we had to tell him how to get to well known wineries. He had no recommendations for places to visit as Nicci had thrown around the names of a few smaller wineries. At our second winery he had to leave to get gas after traveling only 15 miles or so. We were told lunch came with the rental cost and there was no lunch let alone water. He tried to use his GPS on his phone but mid-day it died. He rarely got out of the limo to open door or help our group at all. He was to busy talking on his cell phone. I guess we know why it died. The day was filled of gaffs as mentioned above. It truly took away from our day and when we sent a follow up email to the B&B we never got a response. The limo itself was nice but it was different than the one on the web page. It was newer so that was nice. After seeing what other limo services were providing I would never use them again nor recommend them.
