A boutique hotel in the heart of Historic Downtown McMinnville, the Atticus will offer guests a full service luxury experience in Oregon Wine Country. Locally owned and operated, the 36-room Atticus has grown out of the roots of the community and will weave the collective story of a small town into the fabric of the hotel. To embody McMinnville’s character and share its layered history, the Atticus will feature carefully curated local art, products and furnishings. I stay at a lot of hotels in my travels and rarely stay at one so friendly and authentic. The authenticity comes through each and every person there. Accommodating and willing to help in every regard. I loved the room and the book selection and I read a selection from each book. I felt like I was in my own home. I like how I was greeted with sparkling wine and coffee in the early part of the day. There were walnuts and hazelnuts for the cracking in the room. I cannot wait to go back and stay here and relax on my stay. I can rarely say that about anywhere except my own home. Instantly fell in love with the place and will come back to stay.
This was the most beautiful hotel with the best service! The Atticus Hotel is in the perfect location, in the heart of this quaint little winery town. We were welcomed with glasses of champagne for my birthday and chocolates in our room. The complimentary Pendleton robes were a huge plus! We ended up staying a second night because we loved the hotel and the people so much. We would 100% recommend The Atticus and would be back in a heart beat.
What a treat! From the moment we walked in to checking out, everything was special and beautiful! This place is gorgeous, the staff are wonderful and helpful, and the suite had all the special touches to make you feel right at home, but better! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone. It is more expensive than your typical hotel, but it's not your typical hotel! I'd recommend it especially for special occasions or first time trips to McMinnville. We are looking forward to coming back asap.
Just came back from a girls' weekend here, Great location, walked to everything. Bailey, at the front desk, was super helpful, great recommendations for wine tastings and restaurants and SO accommodating. We loved him!!! Told my husband we need to stay there another time because of the amazing staff and he is one of the big reasons!! Thanks Bailey! On a side note, EVERY staff there was amazing. Best service at a hotel in a long time!
A bit on a pricey side but if you consider the endless espresso drinks and nuts at gratis then it’s worth it. The decor is whimsical, each room has its own door knocker. As you enter the lobby a giant installation of walnuts awaits you with all the local walnuts and hazelnuts for you to taste. The friendly staff will always make you a cappuccino or tea any time of the day. The adjacent restaurant serves great breakfast I loved their granola bowl and innovative gastropub dinner menu.
Wonderful place with so much charm and great decor! Service was great, location is great. Once of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in awhile. The only thing that would help is to upgrade the outdated entertainment/tv hospitality system.
From the complimentary, toasty espresso bar at the front desk, to the delightful and invigorating scents of the boutique toiletries, The Atticus delivers pure bliss from start to finish. Raw, local nuts to crack and soft robes to wrap around relaxed limbs. Welcoming staff provide all the assistance and amenities you'll ever want, and the surrounding town of McMinnville delivers on the rest. Order food/drink downstairs at Cypress, or take a walk and within a few feet you'll have options abound. Remember, this is the heart of wine country! There are also breweries, cideries, and distilleries, oh my! I highly recommend this hotel, business or pleasure.
Everyone and everything was simply top notch and genuine throughout. I’ve stayed in 4-5 star luxury hotels and resorts and this was by far the best ever. The amenities were bountiful, room accommodations excellent, decor was warm and cozy, the Pendleton robes were perfect touch, the staff and customer attention was unmatched.Rooms: 5/5
We visited McMinnville with three other couples, and had an amazing experience. The hotel was beautiful and everything was world class all the way around. The town of McMinnville was very cool and we enjoyed the trip.Rooms: 5/5
The noise from the hotel's bar downstairs was unbearable! We couldn't sleep ! We were told it will stop at 10:00pm, but it continued into the early morning! For the price you pay, it's not worth the stay. Will NEVER come back!!!!
