So as I can see this 1 star ratine im not the first and surely wont be last, the ownere obviously has little care for the happiness of his customers and return business, if I could get a negative ratine it would be -5 star. Long story short. I got in at opening the entire team of about 30 employees standing there doing absolutely 0 ,me and maybe 1 other customers in the store ,I stand in front of them all not 1 offered to help, even when I asked they looked at eachother like I was asking for their kidney ,no eye contact, no politeness or personality whatsoever, asked if they had a simple product ,just said no rather then look and of course I find it .nI would trust a single one of them with a mop ,out if the 3 people I asked for help 1 being a manager they all send me to the wrong aisle .so message to the owner if u have a high overhead u could fire 90% of ur staff and nothing would change . Ur consistent 1 stars should be a bit of a red flag no ? 1 thing i would like to add another way you can tell the owner doesn't care is his generic copy paste response to every single 1 star review.
To make a long story short the weak points are.n1- you lumber quality are no good example out of 50 pieces of 2×4×8 you will be lucky if you find 25 piece in good shape ?n2- 1 out of 3 staff show somehow limited knowledge of the contents of the store and my advice to you for basic job like these go robot to better help clientsnthey work 24 H year round.nprogramed them and let them scan the department with all the items they will be better help than human because unfortunately we lacks people with knowledge and experience .n3- you change your opening ours you are going to loose bussiness to home depot there opening hours remain the same also to Amazon and other companies who sale on lines wake up before is to late we entered the AI era .nI Cary PRO account now you lost some of my bussiness to home depot and other companies who provide better business hours and remember I order some items from China on line it took less time than ordering within Canada we are behind and time is racing?n4- some basic items are not available in store needs more attentions from the managementn5- finally if your not able to go robot for customer service on the floor at least traine the new employee properly.
Worst service I have ever had at the return counter. I bought 2 paving stones of different colours to see which one I want to keep. They told me I could return the one I don’t want. A few days later they wouldn’t refund me because of some dirt on the stone. There was as no damage, no scratches and no chips. It was just outside for a few days. The supervisor was one of the rudest I’ve ever seen. So for $14 she lost for her store a good customer who spends thousands of dollars on renovations every year. I’ll take my business to Home Depot instead. Their customer service team is much better than Reno Depot.
I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I purchased an item about two months ago and was still within the return policy, so I went in to get a gift certificate since I had lost the receipt. This is a standard practice for me, and I’ve done it several times without any issues. However, I was made to wait over an hour and a half, only to be told that I could receive only half of the item’s value in a gift certificate, not including tax. A young black lady at the cash with a lot of attitude was very rude to me. When the staff at another location called to confirm the details, they were falsely told that I had mentioned selling the item on a marketplace, which was completely untrue. This made me feel undervalued and disrespected as a customer. I’m a dedicated and very frequent customer, this sincerely undermines the stores reputation and my perception of the brand. Thankfully, I received the proper refund at another location, but I will not be returning to the original store. Paulo, I hope you improve your customer service in the future.
They have gone very downhill. I had to wait for 10 minutes to gave an associate come help store was almost empty.. when he came he looks at me, smelling like weed and like he just couldn’t care less, sighs and says “oui..” like he was saying “what do you want”. Just to say “we don’t have that”… I was asking for stainless steel metric bolts.. we’re in Canada so figured they’d have metric stuff but nope.nnAnyways, lesson learned. Home Depot fromnNow on
