Purchased a 309$ pressure washer. It was USED. Had water in the pipes. The bag with the accessories was knotted together by hand. Spoke to the lady In store. Refused to exchange it. Called customer service on the phone, the woman wouldn't let me place a word. Rude and condescending. If you like to be treated like garbage and to purchase USED and returned 300$ merchandise. This is the place to shop. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Absolutely ridiculous.

Definitely not my go to hardware store unless really need to. Purchase Stanley organizer box on sale from $29.99 to $20.99 has advertised on their website. Went to the pointe Claire location and found the boxes but they weren't marked down. Talk to sales associate and checked in their system and confirmed they were on sale. Went to the cash to pay and left only to realize they didn't apply the list price. Had to go back and have the difference credited. Not Impress plus they made me waste time.

Went there to open their credit card, was told to wait until the responsible is coming back from her break, and had to watch her from the counter for over half an hour while she completely ignored us and served everybody who was standing after us in line. Finally she informed us that there is a problem with the system (which she could have told us earlier instead of making us wait without knowing what's going on..). Then another person came and fixed the problem in a minute, which made me believe that she either didn't try or didn't know what she's doing. Ended up spending two and a half hours in the store and left empty handed because the stock online and in store wasn't syncronized. Beside the terrible service at the front, I found the staff in the ailes extremely helpful and nice, they are the only reason I'm not giving the store 1 star. Improve your customer service. Edit: I modified the review from 3 to 1 star and would give 0 if I could. Went there a second time looking for something specific that was in stock according to their website. the guy REFUSED to bring the merchandise from the back stockroom, he said IT TAKES LONG TIME TO GET, and asked if DO YOU REALLY NEED THIS? I have no words.

Hard to find staff ready to help. Once found, employees rather provide you simple answers yes or no and nice on with their chores.

It's the usual reno store... the clerks will run and hide from you if they get the chance to turn a corner after you make eye contact or try to wave them down. Sometimes; If they don't know where or what something is they will tell you right away that they don't carry it even if they do. It's reliably the most expensive location around so if you're looking for the 159$ garden shovel with gold plated handles, this is the place to find it! During one visit i asked for black paint because there seemed to be a shortage of black paint in the endless shelfs of white. I was told to pick a black paint colour swatch. The decision wasn't very difficult dispite having 12 varieties of BLACK to choose from. And get home to discover my black paint is actually a very dark grey. Leaving me to wonder how a customer can walk into a store that sells lots of paint.. every day.. to a lot of people.. and not be able to find a standard shade of paint such as black, and then further specify what shade of paint with a hand picked colour sample of what clearly appeared to be a black paint sample, be served by then same person who they originally asked for black paint, and still end up with grey. White paint can get complicated.. you have egg shell and bright white.. ivory white and pearl.. but black, is black. It doesn't get simpler than black paint and they couldn't handle it. Delivery time on a small to medium size order can take over a week to deliver and they will drop the materials in the yard or driveway.
