A large open area for off-leash dog activities. The flat field is perfect for throwing frisbee. No fenced-in area, so if that’s a dealbreaker this is not the place for you and your pup. Along 37th there’s a ‘naturalized area’ pilot project - described as a Pollinator Meadow with long grass and flowers. Lots of trees and shade to be found. The nearby tennis and pickle ball courts are noisy except when it’s raining . The whole park is great with spectacular views, gardens, and the arboretum. Growing up in Vancouver, we always called this park ‘Little Mountain’. You’ll get a workout walking around the hilly terrain.
Nice okay sized dog park but there's no fence separating it from the parking lot or quiet road near by, but since it's pretty big it's not usually a problem for the dogs when they're running around playing. A water station would be great to have there for the dogs. There's a washroom just across the parking lot so plumbing is nearby. Constructing a water station wouldn't be that big of a problem to build.
Less of a “dog park” and more of an open field where dogs are allowed off leash. There are no public dog amenities like fresh water or communal poop baggies. But still, a gorgeous area of the park with calm traffic. Its clean and the grass is well maintained. Other dogs and their humans are lovely and responsible. There was a nice crowd when we came here on a Saturday afternoon :
I'm not sure about the dog park personally because I don't have a dog. But there is a lot to do at Queen Elizabeth Park and golf tennis courts, and I think there are basketball hoops Frisbee golf as well, and it is just a nice park to walk ‍ or run ‍ around
Great open space for dogs to play. There is no fence but it's on the quiet side of the neighborhood so there is not much car traffic.
Beautiful park with ample parking and great picnic sites. There are plenty of attractions and activities in this park, making it ideal for people of all ages to visit.
It is a nice place for dogs that cam ran freedom. They can make some friends here.
Great place for dogs & humans to run around! We always meet great pups there : We feel comfortable letting our 8 month old mini-schnauzer off-leash there even though there isn't a fence because she has been really good with recall training especially when we bring good cookies for her.
Loved this park. Amazing sceneries and lots of activities.
From its lofty location atop one of the highest natural locations within Queen Elizabeth, a soft field and pleasant locals are always abound ready to chat about while the doggos chase eachother around the gentle slopes of this pleasantly mild open pasture. For the winter of 2018 a surprise tent has been curating local interest about the on-goings within, but don't take this humble cocktail receptionists word for it, check out Bacio Rosso until March 2019 before the tent packs up for the summer!
