Nelson Park

Nice and PEACEFUL today I'm sure the COOL WEATHER and RAIN had EVERYTHING to do with it!!

Nice open space in the downtown jungle of buildings. There are trees around the park and nice paths through the field. There are benches throughout. There is a designated dog park at the Bute Street side. It was quite busy with dogs and owners.

It got always big dog playing and mostly aggressive, owners dont really watch their dogs. I got 1 year old mini golden doodle which does not feel safe here. Try Alberti and bid-will dog park, its much better and quieter

The place is probably good for dogs but not so great for playing spikeball. We went to play spikeball but there were so many holes on the ground that one of us twisted his ankle after falling in one. I would suggest if you are going there, then just sit and relax, no need to jump or run.

Nice park in the heart of the city by saint Paul’s hospital. It has a nice grass field on one side with benches and a dog park on the other side and an elementary school with a kids playground on another side.

Nice place for stroller.

It is further from my home but very nice. Grass benches for sitting large area for children. Climbing ropes for kids. Surrounded by community garden. 2 blocks off of stores on Davie St. Shoppers Drug Kim's Farm Market etc.

Nice park in the west end. Well maintained and good spots to sit.
