Love this park for my off leash dog to play and run around. There’s no fence so it’s really an open area off leash park. There’s a wooden path trail beside the river perfect for walks with pet dogs and for them to explore with their noses.
The park opens its ground for dogs to run freely in the winter. Mostly local people come here. You can watch flights descending to YVR, boats, barges floating in the river. Some pic-nic tables and many bench chairs along the water front. Nice scenery. Free parking along the roadside.
Great park, close to the river and lots of space! This is wonderful place to have a BBQ with your friends and family.
Great park by the water. Large open spaces, gravel trails, boardwalks, and beaches. Many dog owners bring their pets here. Two parking areas for cars, with bathrooms at the east parking, and parking all along the street on both sides. The east trail goes all the way just past Barnard street behind some warehouses. The east end of the park also has many benches and picnic tables. Be sure to take full advantage and walk all the way to the west end. The beaches have lots of logs to sit on and relax, and there are some viewing areas along the boardwalk. You can take the trails to one end and walk back on the grass. Daniel
Beautiful in the evening as well. Great paths to walk all year round. Cool River for the dogs on warm days
A great off leash dog beach in the South Van area! Lots of parking in this park and area for picnics in the area too. The water is a bit too dirty for people but the dogs love it and there's always boats coming by so the kiddos love to watch them too. This one is also a great alternative to MacDonald dog beach in Richmond if you want somewhere less busy and not crowded.
Wonderful locals park working river traffic with planes landing in the background at YVR what a view in such an idyllic setting! The best of it all my corgi can run free!!!!
This is a good park for taking a dog, lot of beach area for them to explore also a good place to walk and practice social distancing. This is a good location for a picnic . The park is large enough to play soccer or put on a boot camp. A few trails in the back are good for exploring but use caussion as there have been some shady activities in the past.
Nice place a casual walk that is leash free
A beautiful place to stroll with a walking board along calm water of frazer river. Great for viewing, and a friendly dog park
