Quarter Deck Inn

The best part of staying at the quarter deck inn is the amazing free breakfast. Every morning you get a free full breakfast at the pub in the hotel and it is fantastic. Complementary coffee and amazing customer service is what makes this inn a great place to stay. Some improvements and the reason why I couldn't rate it a 5 was due to the room quality. The rooms are dimly lit and can get cold in the winter. The shower heads were pretty poor as well. I really want to give 5 stars but the rooms could be improved. Awesome view of the docks is a bonus!

Just phoned to see about getting a room for my partner who got off the BC Ferry at 5am. Roads are snowy and in very bad shape heading down island. Wanted her to have a warm and safe place to be until the roads cleared. Woman who answered the phone at your hotel was unbelievable rude and condescending. I had no issue with paying the full day rate for a few hours but after my experience with her on the phone I will always take my business when I travel to Port Hardy elsewhere.

Probably wouldn't return if I had the choice. Dreadful beds - like cement blocks. Very dated and badly planned rooms. Staff look like they don't like their jobs and are bored. No ideas on sightseeing or dining options. Mediocre at best.

First choice for a hotel in Port Hardy. The staff are excellent and the view is very nice.

Pretty basic facilities and fairly noisy due to the Pub next door. But don't complain about the pub...it's where you get breakfast. But don't be in a hurry for breakfast...40 minutes just get coffee!
