Stephanie was so friendly and helpful! We got a deal on Priceline for a double queen, but she upgraded us to a king bed. I always enjoy quality inn. It’s not bad & you get complimentary breakfast. I found the rooms quite clean. We always stay just for a few hours of sleep before continuing our drive.
I only stayed here for one night due to travel, but the first time they checked us in 306 had a strong, heavy cat urine smell and unfortunately, my brother is allergic to cats so we went down to the desk immediately to ask for a room change to which we were greeted in the most unprofessional matter. The lady seem like she didn’t wanna move us room It almost seemed like We were bugging her since we had to ring the bell to get her to come up to the front desk. she rolled her eyes. She was incredibly rude not to mention when we came in to check in we weren’t even greeted properly. I work hospitality myself and know that this is not the right way front desk agents are supposed to treat their guest. I don’t know if it’s because we’re in a small town or whatever the case maybe but incredibly disappointed with Service. Went to breakfast the next morning and told the lady, thank you in the most sweetest way possible and she didn’t even respond back.
I reserved a room earlier in the day, non-smoking room. And they got there in the evening. They only had a smoking room the whole point of reserving a room with a non-refundable deposit is it you get the room.nI didn’t want to have to find another room in town in the evening so I took the smoking room. It didn’t seem so bad but then when I got home, all of her clothes smelled like smoke. on the positive side, this was in the older part of the hotel, but it had been updated, so other than the smoke the room was OK. The fart fan in the bathroom worked, which is better than some higher and hotels.
Stay somewhere else!nnRoom smelled heavily of old cigarette smoke. So bad we almost left but instead opened the window and ran the AC on fan only. That helped a little. Except there was a natural gas leak or something close by and we got to enjoy that smell instead. Bathroom ceiling had several spots of mildew. Carpet in the room was stained and dirty. The recliner was worn out, stained, and dirty. 3rd floor window had no screen. Mattress was old with broken springs and very uncomfortable. Breakfast was horrible, have my doubts the eggs and sausage were actual meat. The container for the sugar packets was full of spilled sugar that had never been cleaned up and to top it off they ran out of sugar. The person who checked us in was unfriendly and the staff in general kept to themselves without even a hello. Even when they were outside smoking which it seemed like all of them did right in front of the entry. On the bright side the pool was clean. Except the floor around the pool that had old stuck gum and several pieces of trash. Hot tub was broken to add some icing to this moldy old cake. I've stayed in some pretty cruddy run down places before, but I expected that when it was me and my buddies splitting a tiny room 6 ways so we can crash for a night cuz it was better than sleeping on the ground after hunting. I didn't expect to bring back those memories and share them with my family.nnThe location is nice and you're within walking distance of the canyon and rim trail, but it's not worth it.
Quality Inn & SuitesnTwin Falls, IdahonnThis hotel was terrible! We've stayed at different Quality Inns before and they were fine, but we would NEVER stay here again. Out of all the hotels and motels we've been to, this was the worst. As soon as we walked into the lobby, I felt uneasy because there was a strong, unpleasant smell. It wasn't the typical old cigarette smell but a mix of strong mildew and a hint of cigarette smoke. When we got to our room, I immediately wanted to leave. The room was very outdated, but that alone doesn't bother me as long as it's clean. Unfortunately, the mildew smell was overpowering, and the room felt very dirty. There was a dirty spot on the bedspread, something splashed on the TV, and stains and crusty spots on the carpet. We didn't even feel comfortable sitting on the sofa. The bathroom also looked and felt unclean. The rubber bath mat was yellow and had mildew. I showered with my sandals on because it was gross. The ceiling was covered in mold, not just in the bathroom but throughout the room where the walls met the ceiling. I was really worried about the health hazard. The mattresses were awful! Our room was nonrefundable, and we arrived late after a long, hot day of driving, so we were exhausted and couldn't demand a refund or find another place to stay. I'd rate it maybe 1.5 stars, possibly 2, only because the staff wasn't rude. The next night, we stayed at a different 2.5-star hotel, and the difference in cleanliness was shocking. No mold, no mildew, no awful smell. The bedding and bathroom were clean, the carpets were clean, and the beds were decent. This experience makes me hesitant to ever stay at a Quality Inn again.
