Motel 6 Twin Falls

This motel was very nice and updated. The room I stayed in was a single king sized bed. I love that the night stand had a built in usb plug-in for 2 devices and 2 regular 3 prong plug-ins. I do wish the motel provided shampoo. There was also no coffee pot, hair dryer, or mini fridge which I have come to expect in all motel and hotel rooms so be prepared for that. The room was very clean though and in a decent part of town.

Unfortunately I have to report that this was a wasted $60. I had traveled so that I could see a medical professional in the Twin Falls area early the next morning. I chose Motel 6 because it three blocks from the doctor and I had stayed at other Motel 6 in the past and had been satisfied with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The front office staff person was very friendly and helpful. I believe the issues I encountered here were not her fault in any way. My first room was in a dirty outdoor tunnel area, poorly lit with a lot of broken glass strewn in front of my door and a dog barking from the next room. (Another guest told me he had reported the broken glass to the office) Once inside the room, the heater and fan we're rattling loudly. I went out to dinner and when I returned two hours later, the glass was still there. My room was filled with cigarette smoke that had seeped through the walls or vents. I am pretty easy going, but could not handle the smoke. I walked down to the office, the staff member immediately relocated me and apologized. The next room was without smoke, but possessed the hardest mattress. The toilet ran all night even after I adjusted it. The curtains did not block out the exterior lights and the heat thermostat did not work. After lying in bed, I was awoken by a couple of very loud guests hollering outside near my room. I reluctantly opened the door and asked them to let people sleep. It was 12:45 a.m. The next morning I was exhausted. I did not expect frills. Just wanted a comfortable bed, cozy, quiet room and an affordable night's sleep. You probably won't need to leave the light on for me again. P.S. this is the first complaint I have ever made while traveling. I'm pretty easy going and don't expect miracles, but really? I should be refunded for that nonsense. Thanks for listening.

Not a bad place but nothing special either. Rooms do not have shampoo or conditioner though it is for sell in the lobby for around $2.50 which seems outrageous. If you need a place to stay I would not shy away from here but understand what you are going into.

Very clean room, no appliances, nice TV . Got this two beds room for a great price just by driving into town! Great night's sleep and a shower to start good day. Highly recommend this place and they'll leave the light on for you.

Traveling solo, my only requirement was to get a good rest in a clean room and a reasonable cost. I've stayed at M6s before. Older buildings in poorer neighborhoods are really bad and I've actually have refused to stay at 2 after reserving rooms in advance. Your establishment looked to be a newer building and was well maintained. Before retirement, when money was not much of an issue, I favored Courtyard by Marriott. I would definitely give them a 5. So compared to them , Motel 6 is satisfactory and I'd give your establishment a solid 3. P.S. I'm was not particularly happy about the TV. The guide does not allow the viewer to see the programs available.
