We ordered the family pack #2 for $42 2 chickens, salad, potato, rice at noon for pick up at 3. When we arrived they charged us $58 and said we don't get salad. They didn't have our order ready and we had to wait while they cooked the chicken. Never again.

Food seemed like leftovers. More of a hang out. Not a busy day maybe that's the reason for the low quality . I got the espetada madeirense, found it was over done and poorly seasoned.Food: 2/5

Friendly atmosphere and great food. Try the surf and turf with chips and some Lobos Tinto wine from Portugal and you will have an awesome food experience.

Absolutely furious! Placed a massive order for a babyshower Had my sister pick up for me because I was setting up the hall. Had already been in a few days before to pay. On her arrival for pick up they said to my sister that there was no order and and doesn't recall me being in to pay!! Never again will I order from this place. They have lost a customer forever!

Had a party of 8 over for dinner and I ordered from Portas Do Mar for the first time. The food was delicious and everyone went for 2nds and 3rds.

Went here for a family lunch. 4 adults and 1 child. Upon entry all you smelt was cigarette smoke as there were men in and out constantly smoking. They then hung around the bar which made this restaurant feel more like a bar. I know it is called a bar and grill so it was expected, however just wished it was more sectioned off. The chairs were dirty, one had to be swapped because it was too dirty to sit on. The menus were dirty and you could tell had not been wiped down. The cups provided for our drinks were not the cleanest. You could see spots of grease on them. The food arrived and some meals were cold, other meals were not. Over all taste was okay, not the best not the worst either. A hair was found in one of the meals however we were told it was from the egg. We were still charged full price for this perticular meal. Over all disappointed with this bar and grill. If they focused more on the cleanliness of the place we wouldn't have felt so uncomfortable eating there. I'm giving it 2 stars because the kids meal tasted good.

For attending this location for the first time it was the worst experience ever. We had a party of 19 people and waited 30 mins to have our drink and meal orders taken. The place had only 3 tables filled so it was not busy. After our order was put in we waited another 2 hours for our food which came out cold. The bife a casa was the cheapest and smallest cut i have ever seen at a portuguese resturant as well as tasteless and to top it off i could probably smack someone over the head with it and succeed to knock them out. The Arroz marrisco was so over cooked the inside of the crab leg was as dry as my skin on a winters day. The owner greeted the other 2 tables but avoided us as he was upset we complained about the wait. Place operates more like a bar vs a resturant and to add the bartender has 0 drink making knowledge, we asked for a cocktail menu and was told they do not make any just canned mixed drinks that were bought at the LCBO. After lunch was over our party of 19 did not tip a single dollar for the poor service and rudeness experienced by staff. Was the first time and the last time we will be ever ordering from this place please do yourself a favour and avoid it.

We went for an early dinner this last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised with the decor, very friendly well done and really nice. Food was delicious and we were in and out within about an hour. Which is very good considering we all different dishes. The waiter was nice. We would recommend this place for a Portuguese-Azores meal. Food was so good, there was none left over for pictures.

This popular dining experience has the best chicken ever tasted. All items on the menu are, can I say " Mouth Watering " ! The bar is well stocked and the general feeling is so down home. The service is always exceptional and the staff is like family. I know you will enjoy the experience.

Hello I was looking for some good Portuguese food in Brampton and came across this place I check the reviews and a lot said it was good but some recent reviews said it was really bad so I decided to check for my self I came in and it seemed good friendly people even had alittle dog in there and I’m Portuguese so I eat these foods everyday. But once I got home I opened up my order and it was wrong but that didn’t bother me but then I tasted it and dam it was really bad the potatoes tasted really bad like it was cooked with really old oil that hasn’t been changed and the chicken was burnt and just not good at all. I hope they get it together and get back on track but won’t be going there anymore
