First time trying Portuguese rotisserie chicken, the chicken was juicy and flavourful. The rice and potatoes were subtle in flavour but complimented the chicken pretty well. Ordered a half bbq chicken. No rotisserie chicken in lunch hour on Saturday. The shop was not busy at all. The taste is ok but the chicken is small. The meat is dry and warm only.

Hello, foodies today I bring you a hidden gem of traditional Portuguese cuisine, I have had many of their food options here, and the food has all been fabulous. Today I happened to grab their chicken This place has great grilled and BBQ Portuguese chicken plus a ton of other items on their hot table everyday which they rotate on a daily bases including fish, Meat, ribs, pasta, fresh salad options, and many other amazing authentic Portuguese delicacies. Out of all the Portuguese restaurants in Brampton, they sure have the most options as far as what they offer on their hot table or made-to-order. They function mainly as a takeout place with some catering options. They are nestled in a plaza just of Kennedy and Clarence St in Brampton with plenty of parking. Their prices are also very reasonable for such great food made with lots of love and cooked in a very traditional way. Today I opted to grab their BBQ chicken special for $9.00 that includes ¼ chicken white or dark meat, BBQ or Rotisserie your choice with two sides, and a pop drink so I got there rice and potatoes you have the choice also of salad or veggies. You can’t go wrong at this price. Food 5/5 The chicken was very nicely BBQ with a nice char on the skin and cooked thoroughly, great flavors and with their Spicy hot sauce, it’s a kind of like a franks hot sauce taste, it’s a must-have on your chicken, they also give you the option of a mild version if you can’t handle the heat. The small round Portuguese potatoes were also just amazing, perfectly cooked, and very tasty. The red Portuguese-style tomato-based rice was also cooked to perfection and delicious. Service 5/5 Super friendly staff, the service was quick and they take care of you with a smile, if you’re looking for some amazing Portuguese authentic cuisine I suggest you stop into this place and grab some food you will not be disappointed.

Even though I was in Lisbon and a couple Azores Island last year, this restaurant is still one of my faves for Portugese food! The chicken is always so juicy, tender, and flavourful. The fish is a must with a crispy batter. Quarter chicken dinner with rice and veggies and a side of fish is my go to meal. The Natas tarts are soft and flaky. It's the perfect way to end your meal! Also, the staff are always so friendly. Add this to your list for anyone living or visiting Brampton!

The food quality has definitely went down the drain the last few times I’ve been there I’m pretty sure the potatoes I was served were at least two days old very hard - dry - non-edible Threw the whole container out what a waste And I would not be surprised if I found out their piri piri sauce is Frank’s red hot sauce!! Gave them a second chance from last time and I definitely will not be back Sub par at best !!!

Update Feb 2021: This location is my go to place for simply the best rotisserie, BBQ chicken and sausages in recent memory. I have been here many times since 2020 and their consistency is always on point. I should should thank Prime Minister Justine Trudeau who introduced me to Portuguese Rotisserie chicken at this restaurant located on St.Laurent Blvd. Montreal when he was in my class at Mcgill University way back in the day. I am really enjoying my fav Portuguese chicken place now :- Kudos to you Justine !!! --------------------------------------------------------------------- I decided to try some Portuguese chicken for the first time in a while. Since my university days if memory serve me correct. So it has been quite a long while. And I stumbled upon this resto from the “InBrampton” Top 5 Portuguese Chicken locations in Brampton. So I decided to head out just after 11:00AM to pick up lunch after my gym workout. The location was clean and neat, the service was quick, efficient and friendly. I ordered the half chicken with rice and of course potatoes. And ... I forgot to take pictures when I returned home because the smell was making me so hungry that I was ravenous ... sorry ... I will remember to take pics the next time around. The portion was plentiful and the chicken was so fresh, tasty and fall off the bone. The flavour was on point. The rice and potatoes were equally delicious and fresh. I even tried a pineapple drink from Portugal and that tasted fantastic too. A++ experience all the way here. ============= Review Part Two: February 11th ‘2020 As promised, I returned today and I remembered to take pictures before I ate everything just like the last time. The service is efficient and friendly. The chicken was delicious again and the flavour was dead on. I just realized during my return visit today that they also offer an assortment of small desserts. I tried the chocolate mousse and that was amazing as well.

I always was pleased with this place, But today happened something really dissapointed. I asked for a BBQ chicken which is the one I always buy. But today not only gave me a rosted chicken it came with 3 hairs in between the chicken. Also, it seemed to be old or from the previos day. I didn't eat at all neither my husband. I should go back and complained, But I needed to go back to work. Don't take me wrong. I never had complained ecept that my brother once got rosted chicken instead BBQ. I don't know if this purposely or by mistake? The reality it's doesn't make me happy at all.

The last year the potatoes have been going down the potatoes are hard and dry, don’t got me wrong I love the food beginning Portuguese I had ordered food and my Family over no one wanted to eat the potatoes paying a lot of money and ordered 4 rotisserie chicken and only getting one sauce the does not cover the food speciality have 14 Adults that are Portuguese people to come over to eat spending money on food that no one wanted to eat I had to spend the more money for extra sauce if you are getting 4 rotisserie chicken should give 2 sauces not one and having to buy 1 more, I can understand if it was one or too to get one sauce but not 4 rotisserie chicken
