I decided to try out this restaurant since it had great reviews. The staff member that helped me was very friendly and recommending one of their delicious soda drinks which I loved. The chicken is very fresh, loved the round potatoes too, I also ordered the veggies that were simply boiled - it would’ve been nice to have some type of seasoning on them but I did enjoy the other dishes a lot. Would love to try this seafood next time!
It was my first time trying Portuguese Food, so i didn't have any expectations. The lady at the counter was cheerful and sweet. I had a combo with chicken, rice and potatoes. It was tasty and filling. Must go place....
Hello foodies… Today I bring you another amazing review and a must try on your foodie bucket list. This Portuguese take out place not only has some delicious grilled and BBQ chicken but they also have an amazing hot table with authentic amazing Portuguese dishes that vary and rotate every day, from fish to meat and pork , salads, veggies and all sorts of amazing authentic sea food delicacies. And being Portuguese I know good authentic food when I taste it. I have gotten takeout from this place many times and have tried most of what they have on the menu and let me tell you it’s been absolute fire! Everything is cooked with love and passion and full of that authentic Portuguese home cooked flavors just as my mom makes it Food 5/5 today I opted for their Peas with chicken and Portuguese Chorizo stew, it’s their one of their specialty dishes they serve on Wednesdays along with other amazing dishes. I got the small and it was enough for two people for sure very large generous portions , the chicken was so soft so tender just fall of the bone juicy in that stew sauce with bits of pork belly and Chorizo sausage just an amazing dish to have with some crusty bread and a beer . Service 5/5 This place is professional in every sense of the word well organized with several staff working taking your order, while others have your order ready in less than 5 minutes even when its busy and its always busy, go early because they do run out of certain dishes if you show up late in the day, they are friendly and super nice. The place is spotless extremely clean with plenty of parking in the plaza easy to find as they have the big Portuguese flag in the front window. Stop into this place for some Portuguese Cuisine I assure you everything they have is fire! And you will not be disappointed Parking: plenty of parking in this plaza
One of the better Portugese Restaurant I have gone too. Chicken is rightly roasted. Friendly staff. It's an "only take out" option. Very busy on holidays and walk-ins are not recommended for they are usually sold out for the day. Price is reasonable compared to other restaurant.Food: 5/5
Everything is well made, simple and tasty. I also get the kids to eat something other than fried chicken and pasta, they love the rotisserie chicken and oddly the veggies. I would like to point out something to improve one, though. If the people who are serving the food has long nails or clip ons, please make them wear gloves. It’s literally the only reason I took one star off.
My work provided this restaurant for our Staff parent night. It was absolutely amazing that I had to go back the next day to order this delicious food . The chicken is flavourful, moist and juicy and the potatoes and rice were delicious! Would highly recommend!
Amazing!! They saved me when I was in a bind!! They stayed 5 minutes past closing on the Easter long weekend and made me chicken for a last minute party. They even helped me bring it to my car. Food was tasty! Thank you!
Order # 54 Visited this place today. Food was pretty ordinary and no way close to what Portuguese Chicken should taste like. Too many people working but quality is substandard. Churrasqueira chicken should have a burnt texture which was totally missing. Hot sauce lacked both texture and taste. I would go back to Lisboa/ Lazaars in Mississauga next time. *** They didn't put a sauce which i paid extra money for. Not acceptable!
Went in today with my wife to get some chicken and was very specific about getting some extra sauce on the chicken. When we got in the car we checked the order and noticed they didn’t put any sauce on and went back in to ask for it. They acted surprised that the chicken didn’t have sauce. They took it back and we assumed they put the sauce on when they returned it to us…When we got home in Collingwood, 1.5 hours later, we noticed they returned it without sauce! Very disappointing since we live so far and we were very clear about how we wanted our chicken.
I ordered my dinner from there and got home the chicken bones where all black and the chicken around the bones was also black I called in to address my concerns and the costumer service was rude and about it I brought the chicken dinner back and they got all defensive and told me that that is normal and sent me on my way no refund of my moneythis is on Jan 17 2023 just after they reopened from there two week holiday selling old chicken. This place was the best back in the day the new owners are dirty and dishonest would not recommend
