Ordered two chicken sandwich combos and paid extra to change one curly fries to onion rings. Chicken tasted not bad, nicely spiced and flavorful. Was very disappointed with portion sizes as i paid extra for onion rings to only be presented with 6. Saw an ad on fb, looked really delicious, disappointed as price is way, way to much for what you actually get. Will most likely not return again.
The curly fries with Frankie's secret sauce maybe it's just me I don't know but the chicken strips in the burger seamed a little overcooked or cooked in oil that was older? Maybe the darkened look is part of this style of chicken regardless it was still a pretty good burger and I mean come on 2 for $13.99?! Food: 3/5
NOT WORTH IT AT ALL The sandwich is okay, it’s spicy and it’s fairly large. I asked for extra pickles and got them. I paid $3.99 for the curly fries and got the smallest portion ever! I could’ve gone to the grocery store and bought a whole bag for the sane price. They are so damn cheap with fries, which is the least expensive part of the meal. Tried it for the first time and I won’t be going back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I’m surprised by the negative reviews because my lunch was fantastic. Nashville hot chicken tenders and onion rings. Chicken was delicious and crispy. Onion rings *looked* like a small portion, but they are so big it was actually more then enough. I will order from them again for sure.
TLDR: Disgusting flavours. Burnt and overcooked sides. Starving may be a better option. Full review below. This review is for "Frankie's Nashville Hot Chicken" at "156 West Drive". Introducing Frankie, from delicious to atrocious. This location used to be better, now only better at being bad. Let's start with the sauce, but wait..what sauce? Apparently that doesn't exist here. Instead your chicken strips will be seasoned with something reminiscent of donkey hygiene. It's the worst thing I've ever tasted, my god. Straight to the trash. The Fries and Onion Rings were burnt and overcooked although still somewhat tasty but with the little serving they gave, I may as well just eat grass for the same nutrition. For a store that's all about the sauce, maybe actually get some? Do better, Frankie's.
Looks good in picture but taste is meh. Chicken tasted sweet when i expected spicy. Coleslaw wasn't fresh. Fries were good.
Chicken was good, portion was not. We ordered a 3 piece strip meal and one strip was half the size of the other 2. The chicken sandwich was good, coleslaw was delicious and the fries were pretty standard. The food was flavorful. Not sure if the menu is only chicken fingers at all locations, but I would love to try some chicken pieces, wings or an actual chicken sandwich. I'm sure with the sauce they use any of those would taste great.
The store was not busy they took over 25 minutes to make the small order. The chicken was small and over cooked. The very small amount of curly fries was a joke and last but not least the pickle coleslaw was so so runny. For what they charge it is definitely not worth the price. I will never order from this place again. Considering that Lone Star keeps this sad chicken in their restaurant puzzles me. You need to do way better for the price you charge.
Chicken was okay, nothing different. Should consider straining the oil off the chicken before packaging. Entire box was oily.
Ordered through Uber eats. Got two orders of six piece chicken tenders. I picked Nashville hot as one of the “sauces”. There was absolutely no sauce on the chicken. It was seasoned with big clumps of spices that mostly just fell off the chicken and tasted only like sugar. The chicken also wasn’t crispy at all, but really soggy. Would be one star, but curly fries weren’t bad.
