Pony Corral Restaurant & Bar (Pier7)

I’ve visited Pony Corral many times and it’s one of my favourite restaurants to eat in . I really enjoy their drinks, quesadillas, pasta, and sandwiches. This time, I decided to try the steak and ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, it came out almost well done and was very chewy. The vegetables served with it were bland, and the carrots were so hard that even a steak knife couldn’t cut them. For $42, I expected much better quality, especially when it comes to the sides like soups, salads, or vegetables. I don’t think I’ll be ordering steaks here anymore but will surely return for the amazing service and the rest of their menu.

Service was fast and friendly. No complaints. I was disappointed in the food. I ordered the chicken parmigiana. For $32 I expected an adult portion. The piece I was served was smaller than the garlic toast. I guess I’ve been spoiled by the serving size of East Side Mario’s but this was pretty disappointing. I circled the chicken for clarity.

The ambience is good with several seating sections to choose from. The service was efficient, we didn't wait long to be served. They had really great music playing in the background which brings about a nice atmosphere.

Our server was nice. Food order came out wrong for 2 of the 5 people in our group. First round of drinks, the bartender clearly didn't know how to make an old fashioned which was on the menu as a special. Had to have it remade. Over all I found it to be over priced for the food and drinks. Too many other restaurants to eat at. I will say the view was nice!

Great food and vibes at Pony Corral! The Alfredo pasta was creamy and delicious, the chicken dinner plate came with generous sides, and the Caesar salad was super fresh. Loved the patio setting and friendly service. Would definitely come back!
