Moxie's Grill & Bar

Last time we visited moxies was in Edmonton. However, this location blew me away. I was visiting with my father and my brother. Their honey garlic wings were the best I’ve ever had. It somehow managed to maintain a garlic flavor while still being not overly sweet. Their tuna sushi tower is amazing as always with their delicious sweet sauce. This is the menu item I would recommend to everyone who goes to moxies. We also got a burger, a poke bowl and a steak. The poke bowl was okay. The steak was nicely marinated and the burger was pretty good. Overall, service was wonderful and the food was good.

We ordered a variety of dishes including Vindaloo, Chicken Alfredo, Thai Chicken Salad, and Cashew Chili Chicken — and honestly, every single item was spot on. The flavors were perfectly balanced, everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was on point.nThe Cashew Chili Chicken and Vindaloo really stood out with their bold and rich flavors, while the Chicken Alfredo and Thai Chicken Salad were equally delicious and satisfying.nService was friendly and quick, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better.nAnd to finish it off — the White Chocolate Brownie was absolutely incredible! Rich, warm, and the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.nHighly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality food and a great dining experience. Will definitely be coming back!

I waited over 15 minutes for my main course after finishing the appetizer, and during that time, no server checked on me even once. No one asked how the food was or provided any updates.nnI eventually had to go to the reception myself just to ask how long my burger would take. Only after I asked did it arrive. The same thing happened when I needed the bill—I had to go up again to request it.nnThis level of service is far below expectations, especially from a place like Moxies. I would not recommend this location to anyone, and I definitely won’t be returning.nnOld review:nnWe went there to celebrate our anniversary, and the service was top-notch. Our server Izzy or a similar name provided excellent service throughout the visit.nnWe ordered Pineapple Express, Chilli Chicken, a Blackened Burger, a Crispy Burger, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Everything was delicious except the Crispy Burger, which was a bit overcooked.nnThe ambiance was very attractive, and the colorful artwork on the walls really stood out. The waiting time for the burgers was slightly long, but the starters and appetizers arrived on time, which we appreciated.nnOverall, this is the best restaurant in Winnipeg for me so far.

Moxies is a great restaurant located in the southwestern side of Winnipeg. They have a wide variety of food options, with many unique entrees that you wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere. I had the tuna poke bowl, and my dad had the blackened shrimp tacos. Both were very flavorful and filling! The tuna bowl was amazing! They have a variety of vegetarian options aLao available. Service was quick and friendly. Moxies has a bar along with a comfy lounge area- depending on if you want a more social or quiet environment. Great for families, couples, friends, or even if you’re out alone. Prices were about average, but the quality and quantity of food did not disappoint. Will be back again!

Good food. Good service, left very full. Price was up there but considering I got the ribeye myself and fed three other people with two apps and two other mains I can’t complain too much. Atmosphere was definitely upbeat compared to other restaurants and very lenient dress policy. Place gets busy so I’d recommend a reservation.
