Don’t know how to feel about this place.. just hoping this place isn’t racist. Walked in and was told we had to order from the app. Asked if we were able to dine in.. & the employee seemed appalled that we asked to eat inside since we had to order thru the app. Ordered from the app only for 8 minutes to pass and every customer that came in after was able to order at the register. Really felt discriminated against at this restaurant. Food was ok. Not enough to tell anyone about it, or to ever visit again.
It’s delicious, but ridiculously priced. The burger is more like a slider would you pay $9.99-$10.99 for a single slider?. I’d recommend the place if you just want a small bite. Otherwise, prepare to be unsatisfied and hangry.
tl;dr it's laughable that this place is listed as a "vegetarian" restaurant - that gives all the wrong impressions about how much the managers of this place care about their service. This place is Plant B, which is in the same venue as Dog Haus bar shares some of the same food menu I'm talking about here. Plant B is NOT safe for any dietary restriction! If you have an issue consuming egg or dairy and try to order something without a particular sauce, it's honestly entirely unreliable if they'll care about the details of your order. I wouldn't normally leave such a review, but this particular place used to give me the opposite impression: their staff knew about vegan-safe substitutes for bread for one dish, and kindly pointed that out without my prompting because they noticed my asking about the sauce. Since those early days when they opened, they now not only have messed up >5 of 10 orders by putting the wrong ingredients on, but employees often don't actually know what does/doesn't have dairy sometimes they'll have a vague notion that vegetarian means no meat, and two different managers separately told me about other restaurants I can order at that, that care about vegan-like requirements. Astonishing downturn in care for quality in delivering and respecting dietary requirements of an order. I'd be shocked if this place hasn't been cited for violations with not only how flagrant they are about it, but how they clearly don't care about feedback I've tried to politely deliver instead telling me about some other restaurants I might try.
Not a sit-down restaurant and may not actually exist. This place operates as a biergarten under a different name. Went here for vegan food we saw on their menu. They said they had no vegan options. I asked them if they used to be a restaurant called Plant B. They said, "Yes, we are also Plant B and have vegan food. It is prepared in our kitchen, but you can't order from us and you can't eat it here. You have to order from the app." This is marked as a dine in restaurant. There is zero signage indicating this business' existence. If you prepare the advertised menu, but refuse to serve it or allow people to order it, are you a restaurant at all? Most of the information on this listing is false.
NOT A VEGAN RESTAURANT. We called and asked if all the items were vegan and were told they were, but they clearly arrived with animal-derived dairy and egg products. Looks delicious if you're vegetarian, but I can't help but feel they are intentionally misleading with their advertising, especially since they are literally called "Plant B". There was even an option for to add a "Fried egg PB" -- what does the PB stand for if not plant based?! Extremely disappointed.
I found the burgers delicious, but yes they're more like oversized sliders. Pretty small, and definitely overpriced, even with the 50% off discount on Uber Eats. Loved the one with egg, as well as the onion ring one. 100% remove the Jalapeño as it is extremely hot.
Went here a few weeks ago, the place barely exists. When I went inside, I was told that there was only a kitchen inside a different restaurant, and I had to order from the app. The employee I dealt with was rude, and refused to accept cash. I went to read reviews and saw how low they were rated, and this is for a good reason. Don't waste your time on this place if you are looking for plant based food.
I came here with my friend expecting a vegan restaurant called Plant B, and instead the signage on the restaurant said Biergarten. We asked the guy working there what the deal was and he said we could order from the app from Plant B but not eat it there? Make that make sense. It was all very sus and we instead gave our business to Kinnaree Thai Kitchen over on Ashland. They get 5 stars.
You get nothing described.
This is the best food Ive ever had in my entire life. Period. I straight up Hasselhoffed a burger and kielbasa in my hotel. I dabble in filthy veganism but love meat too much to abandon it entirely. That being said, if every person had vegan burgers or kielbasa’s from this place, they’d never eat meat again. This place could defeat global warming and commercial farming single handedly. Amazing food
