Super Jalapeno Grill

Ordered my usual chilaquiles Verde with scrambled egg and steak, first 2 times it tasted so fresh and authentic but these last 2 times the steak is definitely either all fat, some meat that tastes like all fat or cooked in used grease, it's disgusting! Idk if this is permanent but I wouldn't order steak from here, not until something changes!

This place has the perfect balance between convenience, service, quality and price. I mostly order pick up and found it very convenient to order online for this place. They never mess up my food, even with the occasional requested adjustment to the food item. Their counter staff is always extremely friendly when I walk in to pick it up. Their prices and portions are fair, and the quality of their ingredients is standard. I gave it 4/5 stars because they don't really stand out from the rest of the taco joints in the neighborhood.

Consistently great. Pickup orders are always ready on time, and they're always fresh. I've ordered all over the menu and have never been disappointed. Also, BIG PLUS, when you leave modification notes on a menu item, they actually read them! Really appreciative of that.

Jalapeno Grill is one of my favorite taco spots in the city. The quality of their food is great. Its not super cheap but neither is the product. They put love into it and you can taste it. 9/10 the people working behind the counter are genuine and I really appreciate the family vibe in this place.

The food is good, but the restaurant is horribly mismanaged. Expect to wait 25+ minutes for a single burrito when they are "busy." "Busy" means 2 people in the store waiting when you arrive. Somehow Mexican food trucks can turn out food faster than this restaurant with a full kitchen.

Been here a few times now and have loved it every time! Their chips and salsa are SO good! I love their chile rellenos. Lots of food for a decent price. The servers are really friendly too. They don't serve margs, but it is BYOB if you want to bring in something.

I really wish it would have occurred to me to snap a picture of the food I got. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito with the upgrade of Cheese1.50, Sour Cream 1.50 and Extra Steak 4.50 for a total of about 15 bucks, not to mention I am a considerate tipper so I rounded it off to $20. What I received was an almost Italian flavored burrito that was not really wrapped, it was like a loose smattering of slop inside a foil wrapper that was very airy as in the wrap was flopping around. The ends were not tucked in, slop was spilling out everywhere and it had no discernable cheese to speak of. It didn't seem that I received extra steak, unless their portions are unusually small. I hate writing bad reviews, it makes me feel weird but idk man, it had to be mentioned. Better luck next time?

Terrible customer service. I ordered from here on Uber Eats and in the notes I requested a side of Guacamole as they do not have an option on their menu to order it. The order was estimated to arrive 45 minutes after I placed it; after that 45 minutes past the restaurant cancelled my order. I called the restaurant directly and the employee who picked up said that her boss claimed he tried dealing me twice I received no calls and that he cancelled the order because of the Guacamole which they couldn't charge me for. It'd be one thing if they cancelled right away, but to make me wait 45 minutes just to cancel my order over a $4 pricing discrepancy is just unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for the customer's time. Will never order from this place again.

Great burittos! Was with a group from work and we all had a good lunch. Would stop in again!

My go to Taco spot in a neighborhood full of fantastic tacquerias and Mexican joints. The chicken tinga pulled chicken & tomato sauce tacos are phenomenal. The shrimp and fish tacos are also always super fresh delicious. Just today I stopped by and peaked through the little window into kitchen and saw a chef meticulously slicing a huge chunk of fresh beef and cutting off the fat. It was beautiful. Their homemade red salsa is amazing and the salsa verde is also very good. The food can take a little while to prepare because it is so fresh and always made to order but rarely takes longer than 15 minutes. Staff is super friendly too
