Astonishingly bad service at pick-up window from manager. Questionable policy on “coupons” including overcharging and different prices for the same thing, so watch coupons carefully and bring copy with you. Manager makes up extra charges at pick-up window and screams at customers. Food is not that good. Very average. Expensive place for families to eat. Do not tell you that “custom” pizzas with buffet cost extra. Lead you to believe it is included. Pizza is average. Chicken is okay. Nice that they deliver chicken as well as pizza. Inside buffet not very well stocked or particularly clean. Overall, the Ames, Iowa location is not well managed. (Short, dark-haired guy with temper). I’ve heard people prefer Story City location. Also, Fort Dodge location is good.

New stuffed crust is excellent. At this location, the salad bar and chicken are great as well. They recently removed the old arcade machines and added a games room with lots of options and a tickets counter, which is geared towards all ages, but I miss the Sunset Riders cabinet.

So I was with my best friend and her family on Sunday the 4th and I said, "1 person" and their employee Paul asked if I said, 1 porson" while smiling and making fun of my sometimes noticeable lisp when I pronounce my R's. I repeated myself with emphasis saying, "One person". I was pissed but didn't want to ruin my best friends event celebrating a big thing for her dad. How would you feel if you got made fun of for something you have little to no control over? How would you feel if you were in my situation?

Food was good....when it was available. Had to wait a lot for fresh pizzas to be brought out. Salad bar was almost empty...but overall would visit again.

Its a busy place. A good place to take kids of all ages. The buffet has something for everyone,the fried 🍗chicken is very good,you can request any kind of 🍕pizza for the buffet,my favorites are the blueberry🍑 and cherry 🍒dessert pizza and the cinnamon streussel(cactus bread)
