Love the place. Great prices for smokers and all all their needs. Very knowledgeable about the products they offer as far as tobacco goes. Decent, fair discount prices on packs of brand name cigarettes. If you're looking to start rolling your own cigarettes they can assist you in the items and types of tobacco you need depending on what cigarettes you're used to smoking. All very affordable and economically the way to go if you're on a budget. Keep in stock a variety of household items and random everyday amenities... Makes it a one stop shop. Little known to many folks I've talked to--- they have the CHEAPEST loaves of bread I have found, And usually can beat, match or are close competitors to bigger names markets in fresh produce items such as onions, potatoes, bananas, etc. As customer if they don't carry a product you were looking to buy, they can specifically order certain items (if available, and within reason) at no extra cost to you. Stop in at the right time and you might even find discount pastries, cookies, and even beer!

The service here is incredible. When I ordered "a tall glass of water", my waiter delivered a glass water that was larger than my counterpart's water glass. However, the food usually takes a hot minute to make. We waited about 20 minutes for an easy order of their appetizers. They do all-you-can eat pancakes, half priced appetizers, and half priced pies every night all night. It's also a great place to bring your grandparents when they visit town.

Servers were great. Food was amazing. Drinks were always full and the server always was helpful in getting whay we needed. I will come here again for sure.

We consistently enjoy good food and service at Perkins and the Ames restaurant was no exception. Had a wonderful server (don’t know if the spelling is correct but her name was Teresa) take care of us this morning, especially those of us with special dietary needs. Thank you!!

Great, helpful, patient service. Got a flat tire and they went above and beyond to help and accommodate. I guess the food was good too.
