Most of items on the menu were not available except for one. The quality of the food was very typical. I asked for every topping they had with extra hot peppers and extra hot sauce, because I love my mouth burning. However, there was no spiciness. The wrap had one piece of tomato and little bit of lettuce. I could see why the restaurant was empty while shawama places in the neighbourhood were packed with customers.
Overpriced mediocre shawarma at best. Restaurant was empty for a reason. Placed an order for a large mixed shawarma… I may have had three bites of meat. The remainder of the wrap was lettuce and sauce. Extremely disappointed. Will not be coming back.
Sneaky tactics by the owner. He will add random miscellaneous charges to your order. He added $3 arbitrarily to my plate and when I asked him, he acted like he didn't understand what I was talking about. I said ok I'll let it go, and paid anyway...then when I was picking up my food I brought it up again to him just to let him know. He then started getting defensive and comparing his prices to other shawarma places and I said I'm not comparing you to others...I'm telling you that you randomly charged me an amount that is completely different than the giant menu above your head. He truly did not care and I have a feeling he is pulling these tactics with all his customers. He'd rather rip you off for $2 than have repeat customers. Shady business now, which is a shame because this place used to be my favourite. It seems like the owner just doesn't want to be there anymore.
Came here for the first time 3 years ago for a shawarma wrap and it was great. Went today December 2022 for shawarma and rice. Asked for no hot sauce-charged me extra for garlic sauce. 1$. Plain rice, plain chicken which was chewy. Drenched it with garlic sauce which was awfully disgusting. Didn’t offer any other toppings. Also charged me 50 cents for rice? I ordered chicken shawarma rice and was charged on top of the menu price. All together 12$; took a few bites and threw it in the trash.
The restaurant has beautiful quality Mash Allah! The Egyptian Chicken Shawarma Wrap tasted delicious! Makes me want to go to Egypt on vacation!
3 words: Osmow’s could never! The fries are extremely fresh and crispy, the sauce isn’t overbearing and the chicken was grilled fresh on the spot : owner was very welcoming…definitely a go to place!
In my opinion this restaurant suffers from being a little bit too expensive for what it offers, with rice that is not quite as tasty as its competitors. The Saving Grace for this place is that it is in a clean State as it was very newly renovated, the staff are eager, attentive and helpful, and the offer a donair lamb gyro wrap that is very tasty.
Went there a couple of days ago and tried the chicken shawarma. The person working there wasn’t wearing a mask, but that is not why I’m giving them a bad review. When I start telling them what I want on my shawarma I notice that most of the ingredients cost extra, ok no problem. Also noticed chicken was not cut fresh but it was taken from a container. I payed 13 dls for my shawarma and I’m ok with it but I thought I was going to get a great shawarma. I start eating my shawarma and most of it was pita bread, barely any chicken or any of the ingredients I payed extra for. I payed $13 dls for pita bread, a little lettuce and a some chicken shreds.
Best on the rocks I've ever tasted. Chicken is cooked fresh and properly. The sauces taste amazing! Great value for money as well. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out!
This was my first time here. I had a chicken shawarma dinner with salad, rice, fries and a mango drink $20. It was OK, nothing special. The chicken is not shaved fresh of the spit and tasted like it had been sitting there for some time. I liked that you had a choice of type of salad you wanted, I had Greek and while it tasted good it was practically all lettuce and hardly any tomato and cucumber. I'm not even sure if the white sauce is supposed to be garlic or tahini but it was completely tasteless, luckily the mild hotsauce provided some flavour. The fries were not greasy and tasted ok, typical frozen fries. The place was very clean and the staff was nice. I went around 6pm and it was basically empty. Service was reasonable, I was in and out in 10 minutes. There is limited parking at the back of the building, but lots within the general area. Overall a mediocre experience, I don't think I will be back any time soon.
