January 11, 2024 nYesterday, I attended the Financial Literacy Program at the Central Library, hosted by Ellen Seyers, an Associate Advisor. I appreciate the Central Library's commitment to offering free programs that empower individuals with valuable knowledge. The material covered during the session was impressive, and I gleaned several tips that I plan to apply. It was particularly inspiring to see a diverse group of young adults in attendance. Utilizing these tools is crucial for personal growth and development.
place is huge , clean and lots of books for selection , kids and teens can enjoy games from ps 4/5 and xbox,nnthere is a small place for kids to have fun while the parents relax ,nstaff are very friendly and helpful
Exceptional library, I use to come here time to time after work hours and it was a peaceful place. The downstairs section has group study rooms which you can book out. The upstairs section is meant for quiet study if you need time to focus. There is also a great selection of books throughout the library.nnThe staff at this location are also super helpful, especially if you need to find a book or book a space. The washrooms in this facility are also super clean which makes it ideal for a study session that lasts a few hours.nnI recommend coming to this library as it's a short walk away from the Pickering town center mall.
Small but a nice place. It’s got a great kids play area and my daughter loves it.
Wonderful Library, Wonderful resources, Overall great library.nOnly problem is the areas, there are 3 zones, each getting more quiet… it’s too bad that the quietest zone the silent room has teenagers sitting outside of it yelling laughing, playing music and disrupting…nJust wished the staff would direct them to the proper area.
