Staffare super heroes! Keep the place running smoothly and very clean! They've taken steps to hire security and that has helped a lot. Parking fees are pretty steep. At least library parking would be nice to be free but you park across creek at midtown mall but take any valuables with you for sure.
Very beautiful library, a great 90s anime DVD collection. Very pleasant employees that helped me out when I needed a mobile Hotspot and they made it happen for me day off, it was AMAZING. Make sure to support them when they do their library book sales.
Brought my Granddaughters and WE had a blast!! The girls ran from one activity to the next; from one room to the next!! The facility is stunning! Beautifully organized. Absolutely wonderful staff. We were there 3.5 hours and the girls still wanted to stay!! Just amazing!!!!
Always pleasant going here. Kind and accomodating staff, great selection of books and nice, clean place.
Update: A form of nuisance has been discovered. People who tutor loud schoolchildren after school with no regard for other library users. I can’t think or work in peace because there is loud tutoring going on. If these are private tutoring, these should not be allowed. people are not respecting the very basic fundamental rule of a library, being silent. people are treating it like a public park.nnthe librarians, and staff members don’t seem to care. The security need to improve on their duties. When rude people talk loudly on the phone or with other people, disturbing the peace and other people who are trying to study/work, the security team seems to do nothing to remind the rude people to stop talking so loud and disturbing others.nnA good number of the people who come here are homeless people. If you sit down on any of the chairs, be cautious for pests like bedbug and head lice.nnBesides the homeless people, unfortunately there are other people who visit who don't care about basic personal hygiene and cleanliness. As a result, sometimes the library smells awful. This is not helpful when you're trying to sit down, concentrate and study/work. Wash yourselves and wear deodorant, people.nnAfter you go home, be mindful of your outside clothes and make sure you don't make the mistake of sitting on your bed, sofa, couch, etc with the same clothes you wore to this library. Check your clothes thoroughly for bed bugs.
