ok … hear me out the service is PHENOMENAL. the waitress was so sweet.. so kind. so friendly but the food is just not that great. i had the chicken lemongrass rice dish and it simply did not hit. i wish it did because i wanted to vibe with this place but i can’t lie
Always delicious food at this little Cafe! Best Vietnamese food I've had in Victoria, huge portions. Before I went vegetarian I always loved the spicy pho with rare beef yum! The vegetarian pho is still awesome though, and loaded with veggies. The chili garlic oil is amazing and I like that you can buy it to go now to have at home. Thanks for the great food and speedy service. Best way to warm up on a cold day. Also they do an amazing job packaging the take out orders with your noodles separate from the both so they don't get over cooked. The bomb!
“I’ve never had Vietnamese food before, that stuff slapped. It was amazing! You know the chicken was bathing in sick flavourful soup, the broth was insane. You also got to chef it up with Sriracha. I also caved into getting a double spring roll order. Had to do it.” -Tarek “The pho was amazing. Last time I tried it was a few years ago. The beef was very nice. Would recommend dipping the meat int the Sriracha and Hoisin sounds. A plus for flavour. Also the Vietnamese crepes were good. Little crispy for my liking but still goes hard.” -Everett “Just the right amount of sauce, noodles. Spring rolls were perfect. Pork was excellent. There was too little prawns. Wasn’t enough prawns” -Joel Meals Eaten: Phonomenal Vetmicelli Rare Beef Pho Chicken Pho Vietnamese Crepes
Delicious, favorite place to eat Pho, so tasty. Great service and price!
Great food, Pho is wonderful. Rare beef and the spicy noddles. Satisfy are cravings. Will try the other dish next time.Food: 4/5
I won’t recommend eating here if you have better choices. With this price point, $16 for a pho and $8 for sandwiches I would rather order something from Tims next door. Everything in the store looks old and greasy. And the taste of food is just so so. It’s not worth all the money you pay for.
I came here for a sandwich, and my card got declined at the point of sale my account was not empty it was some other problem. They gave me my sandwich for free! It was absolutely delicious and the cashier was so kind and generous! This place is awesome and I'm definitely coming back with a big tip when I figure out my card problemRecommended dishesSandwich, Rare Beef Pho
Sweetest staff, especially the woman in her 20s. I found the pho to be a bit bland compared to other pho places I’ve gone to in Vancouver the rating is just regarding that. Decent portion. Side note to owner: Please update the physical menu to the correct pricing, it can sometimes be a bit disappointing when you go to pay and the price is different… or at least mention it to customers dining in.
Very good Phô, although missing some traditional staples in the add-ins tendon, tripe, etc it's good for now close to campus but it is on the more expensive side. The broth is very good, noodles are great for the first 15 minutes and degrades quickly, the toppings are rather space when compared to Vancouver stores and some dt stores. À bowl of house pho and spring rolls will set you back $30 bucks
Staff are very nice, the food service was very quick but the quality of food is not representative of the price point. I ordered a spicy beef noodle but the meat was questionable and the broth had no depth and wasn’t spicy, almost as if they just put a drop of sate spice or chilli oil and called it spicy beef. My Vietnamese iced coffee also tasted like instant coffee.
