Ba Le Victoria

The only place on the Island that sells authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi submarine sandwich like the ones you'll find in Vancouver. I ordered the cold cut special for $8.00 and they actually use the correct butter, pate and meats unlike other places offering Banh Mi on the Island. The subs are a bit shorter than I've seen and inflation raised the prices recently but that's basically everything nowadays. Overall I still consider it well worth it and I'll recommend this place Vegetarian options: Tofu and soy chicken options.

Just tried 2 of the 4 available vegan bahn mi options at Bahn Mi Ba Le downtown and would 10/10 recommend. We’ve been searching for our go-to place and have experienced a couple flops. Not Ba Le - it was yummmmmmm so good. We had the tofu #3 and vegan chicken#11.

I had the classic cold cut bahn mi #5 and it hit the spot for lunch. I'd pass on the $5 add-on for the combo - not much of a deal for a can of pop and a spring roll, but that's just me. I might try the meatball special next time I come around!

Really great lemongrass chicken bahn mi! One of the best places in the city for bahn mi. And such a convenient area to stop for lunch. Seating area inside is nice and take away option is quick and easy and delicious.

The Banh mi was amazing! Got the vegan chicken one and it is absolutely the best sandwich in Victoria. By far. The veg spring roll was delicious too!

We were delighted to discover this vegetarian / vegan banh mi place in downtown Victoria. I love Vietnamese sandwich. I had the spicy chicken banh mi. It's tasty. One sandwich is $7.5 which is quite reasonable.

So good, so cheap, so nice! The owners are absolutely amazingly nice and make the most delicious Banh Mi at cheap prices! And it's so big usually my partner and I split one and just bring some fruit for lunch!Food: 5/5

Will definitely recommend if you’re craving bahn mi. I quite enjoyed that the bread was warm and toasted. Would’ve appreciated a little more meat and perhaps a bit more sauce but nonetheless it was quite good.
