My friend ordered rare beef and beef ball Pho soup. He said it was excellent. I ordered vermicelli with stir fried chicken and lemongrass stir fried beef. The chicken wasn't bad and the beef was incredibly delicious. Side veggies the dish came with were fresh and tasty especially enjoyed the mint leaves. Will definitely be going back.
Pho Dau Bo Restaurant Do I Recommend? Only if you live around the area, and if you are looking to pay less for a meal. How is the service? the service is but below average, when we were there they mistakes with our order, wasn’t big enough mistake that we bothered correcting them, but it did decrease the dining experience, because the ingredients we wanted were missing. Otherwise nothing special. How is the food? the food was not as great as I remembered, but maybe the covid-19 impacted their food quality. However, it was still decent enough to enjoy. The price is lower than typical Vietnamese restaurant you’d go to so that is a bonus.
Craving Pho as always and was nearby this area, so decided to give this place a try. Came here on a Tuesday around 6pm and the place had a few people dining in. This place is fairly big and can sit a lot of customers, so I wonder if they get extremely busy during rush hours. If they do, I'm sure they can manage given the space. So no worries if you're with a big group. For the service, it was pretty quick. Got seated right away and the menu is already on the table along with the paper where you write down your order. The food came pretty quick as well. Again, would like to mention it wasn't busy so service level may change when you visit at a busier time. Now for the food... This one is a bit different. I was expecting to try their Pho Dac Biet, but issue is, I didn't see it on the menu. You can choose your Meat combination. This is actually neat since it keeps the menu minimalistic. The "Pho Dac Biet" I ordered is generous with the topping. Broth is good and not too salty like other places. The Spring Roll is crispy but thin. For the seafood dish, it tasted like Wonton Soup. Overall, can't go wrong with this place to get your Vietnamese cuisine cravings satisfied.
One of the best Pho shop in GTA. Family-style. Very tasty, Delicious. Good portion, Good prices. Decent service. The food to the table fast, is Fresh and clean. Recommended. Lots of free parking.
Ordered via Uber. Well packaged and quick service. A container of pho broth is only $4 - got one to make a couple bowls of pho Bo vien the next day. Bun Bo hue broth is good but not the best in the area.
Just ordered Grilled Pork Vermicelli BUN dish with spring roll from Uber. Wow I am impressed. They have the best price for this dish. Everyone charging $17!!! Here's it's $15.50 and it did not disappoint. Very fresh and delicious. OK amount of noodle but tonnes of veggie and MEAT! Loved this dish and the price. I will order here at least 2 times a week. Thank you Pho Dau Bo for not making your price crazy and your food so good
Favourite pho place, hands down. The staff are super friendly and the service is always quick. I've been coming to this location for over 15 years and I've never been disappointed with the quality and the service here. The finch construction traffic makes it a challenge to access, but definitely worth the travel time. I always get the standard pho bowl but they've updated their menu for more flexible options. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favour and stop by.
I used to go to this place all the time before the pandemic, but since then it’s really changed. As the prices for all their items went up with less options and quantity, their quality also went down. I ordered a grilled pork chop and chicken with rice, but the chicken and the pork were completely black/burnt. The food was also heavily oily and it made me sick for a couple days. I gave it an extra star because nothing beats their spring rolls, but other than that the quality has gotten a lot worse.
As of writing this review they’ve now allowed indoor dining during the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ve been coming to pho dau bo for years and they’ve now renovated the interior. Everything looks clean, the food is still great, and all tables and chairs are distanced accordingly. I’m kinda sad about the limited menu, the dish I usually order banh cuon isn’t on the menu right now, but I hope in the future they add it back again.
Wow! Delicious. The vegetable pho was tasty, loved the broth. I also purchased a mango smoothie and vegetable spring rolls which were the best spring rolls I’ve had! Everything was great.
