Reviews
First time here. Wanted noodles with some soup for lunch. Reviews weren't the greatest but I thought I would give it a go anyways. First impressions are it's a very small restaurant. Only 1 girl working the front and a man and a lady working the kitchen. Waitress wasn't the most attentive even though I was the only person in the place. Interesting decor, it's plastered with different coke bottles and cans. Tea is from a tea bag which is different and they also control the napkin game pretty tightly. Food was a bit of a let down as well. I ordered a large but it was mainly noodles, not much meat. I ordered a large #44 which had beef flank and rare beef. The rare beef didn't come rare and it didn't taste too fresh tbh. Broth wasn't too bad, a bit salty but piping hot! Overall I don't think I will return the next time I am craving some pho for lunch and I am at the office. I think I will try Pho Toronto next even though the reviews are a bit better I'm still doubtful tbh. I guess I would only recommend this place if you are craving for pho and in the area but other than that there are TONS of better places for pho.
Hidden gem next door to Service Canada in Flemingdon Park. Portions are enormous! Both soups in photos are small size which I recommend if you plan to have appetizers. Satay broth has a Malaysian curry type aroma, Bún Bò Hué was very savoury and not too spicy. Generous size of fried tofu, very tender on the inside, bit salty but not overly. Spring rolls are massive with a delicious peanut sauce side. Service was very quick and attentive. Bubble tea is also served. Vegan options available. High chairs. Private bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible. Huge recommendation!
Good portion sizes, good speed in preparing the food and OK taste. A little pricey, so will be coming here once or twice in a year. Parking is available but no accessible parking close by. Vegetarian options: Tons of options Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is far, the doors are tight around the corner getting in. No buttons to open the door for you.
It’s a good Pho restaurant to grab a quick bite if you are in the area. The place is small but service is usually quick and diligent. The establishment has changed names a couple of times maybe but, I used to come often before the pandemic and, it is still good.
I wish I took a picture of my bowl but it looked too good and I couldn't wait. I went at lunch on a weekday so the place was empty but the food and service are tasty and super quick. Will be coming back here for lunch often. Vegetarian options: Not many but they do exist.
This restaurant was speedy got my order done faster than usual restaurants I go to. I found the curry sauce with roti was delicious. I would recommend coming here.
Horrible pho! The broth smells really bad, and I am a huge pho lover, which is disappointing. The spring rolls were not fresh at all...looked like they were fried yesterday. And the Malaysian curry was so salty and filled with oil!
Went in earlier today to grab a spicy pho dish, the prices are amazing and newly renovated place looks great! The worker who was there today was great. Will be coming here again for the new Dim Sum menu next month!
Pretty good and inexpensive; as a Vietnamese native, the broth and noodles were pretty good, a little on the sweeter side. My few complaints are: noodles to meat preparation are too noodles heavy; all the greens come already placed, I typically like to put my own and a lot of it. I would say give it a try, I couldn't finish the large because well...there was too much. Their small is more then enough.
I go here once a week for a large house special. New ownership recently but the food seems the same to me! Ha ha Great prices and if you like Asian love songs you're in luck, that's what will probably be playing on the tv overhead.
