Pho Anh

We appreciate the courteous service and the down to earth nature of this Vietnamese restaurant. They advertise that they do not use MSG and we do taste the difference between their broth and some of the other places where there is heavy MSG. Tried their banh mi for the first time today ans found it was average because I prefer the meat char grilled but the serving size was good and veggies were fresh.

We have tried a few different Vietnamese restaurants in NW Calgary and have found this one to be the absolute best! The ingredients are always very fresh and the quality of the food is so good! The customer service is fantastic though we've only ever had take out. We do call in our orders and talk directly to the person answering the phone and they are professional, polite and have a great time frame for pick ups! Highly recommend!

Great place for vermicelli bowls. I've never been here before today. I ordered a #27 it came with fish sauce AND hoisin sauce. The pork spring rolls were so tasty. One of my new favorite places. Only down side, it's far from me. But now I have an excuse to eat here when I am in the area!

Came here with my family tonight and ordered number 43 the beef curry with noodles an item I’ve ordered and enjoyed before. Tonight it tasted off and I mentioned to our server it did not taste very good and I’d hardly touched it - too much curry powder maybe? She said she would let the cook know. When my husband went to pay she told him the kitchen said this is the way it is always made and something must be off with me or I must not remember what it tastes like. We have been regulars here for over 6 years and it is my family’s go to for Vietnamese, but we are done - this is just poor customer service. We regret that we won’t be back, as there is one server who has always been great. Side note - the blinds are filthy and caked in old food and sauce splatter. Maybe we’ve over looked these things in the past, but like I said we are done. - Sam

Continuously great food and service. The staff are so kind and friendly. Would gladly pay more for the meals considering the quality of food. Peanut sate pho is the best here.

Service was slow, their fish sauce was salty, pho broth tasted off and was not tasty, and the blueberry smoothie had no flavour. I’ve been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and this one is a solid 2 out of 5. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Such good food the servers are nice and hold conversations with you. The food has gluten free and vegetarian options on the front of the menus, sauces are on-top of every table and wide variety of food.Food: 4/5

Ordered peanut sauté pho, asked for extra broth and the server said it would be an additional $9….. Server was horrible, I had to walk to the counter for everything. She did not make eye contact with me and continued folding receipts while I stood there. This place is a horrible. Food is average at best. Very rude service.

Food was nothing spectacular! I ordered the pork and springroll vermicelli and they looked at me funny for asking what was in their Spring rolls I just needed to make sure there was no shrimp due to an allergy and they didn't bother to come over to hear me better. Friendliness of service could be improved. And it wasn't the fastest service either for a non-busy afternoon!

First time would recommend to others. Clean with good clean energy. Bathrooms are very clean. Good service, food delivered quickly and there is no MSG, prices great with big enough portions I couldn’t finish mine. If you like Vietnamese food go and try it.
