Any University of Calgary student knows what an institution bakechef is. The filling to bread ratio - stellar. The breakfast subs - lifesaving. Was on campus for the first time in a long time, you best bet the first place I went was bakechef. 10/10
Not at the university anymore but still stop by to pick up some treat now and then. Baked goods are always fresh and made from scratch. The subs are better than other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.
An absolute institution. I miss bakechef now that I'm not on campus, no other subs can truly compare
Their subs are amazing. I don't know many students that went here without this becoming a staple on their diet

It is one of the best parts of going to U of C
A LONGTIME favourite of almost everyone who regularly eats at MacHall. People love the Vietnamese subs but I prefer the stuffed buns. :
I love Bake Chef, They always have good food for perfect value. Highly reccomend the hot dog buns and spicy beef or chicken subs. Coffee is also really good.
