First and last time. Lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl was noodles, boiled chicken and a pinch of peanuts……? This place needs help. Don’t let my pic fool you, I put oyster sauce in to help more palatable. Otherwise you’re eating dry noodles and chicken. Husband said the pho was “fine” but not something he would return for. Won’t be returning. More affordable and delicious food can be found elsewhere.

Pho An is a local Vietnamese restaurant that's got a very large menu with plenty of options for everyone. The inside is quite large with lots of seating, however parking outside can be a bit of a pain on Lake City Way. The service here is quick and ridiculously friendly as they are always happy to see you. Their food is delicious, and the price per portion size is a great deal for sure. I'd highly recommend getting the vermicelli bowl or pho as these are two things they always do right.
I ordered the pho size large. Taste was not bad. Portion was very small in my opinion. The bowl was large. But it was mainly broth, very little noodles. Not sure why skim on noodles. Maybe they want you to order more food, or they don't like you to ask for a take out box if you can't finish it. Whatever it was, I walked out hungry. Also, you place order by scanning a qr code and they expect you to pay for the food and tip them right then and there, before you even see your food or get any service. That really put me off.
We just moved in to town about 3 months ago now and this place is walking distance from our new home and we are beyond thrilled!!! First off, the gentleman that works there is phenomenal!!!!! Great service, VERY ATTENTIVE, humble, cares about your ideas, dislikes, and anything in between when it comes to your feedback. My hubby always gets the same thing, no veggies and he absolutely loves the pho quality EVERY TIME. Ever since we found this place, we have been going their at least once a week. Even the kids love it! And the prices are reasonable.
Pho An is my #1 favorite Pho spot. I've been here like 20 times maybe. The restaurant staff are always in a happy, welcoming mood, they're kind, and attentive! The service is fast and the place is really clean. Prices are good! Food is delicious. Go visit them :
Unfortunately it just isn't that good. Ingredient freshness is noticeably very poor. Flavors and overall taste are not exciting. I've had several dishes from here on multiple occasions. Spotted a cockroach on the wall as we were eating. Truly I would skip this one.
The prices here are definitely fair. Great service and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food was tasty but average, and it was freezing in the restaurant which lent itself to a less than favorable dining experience. I would definitely go back and try again, as they have a pretty expansive food offering.
The high ratings are well-deserved. Staff is nice. I got large rare beef. The beef portions were decent value for the $8 price. My gauge on quality of ingredients is how I feel after half hour - I felt nourished, so it seems the food quality freshness is good. That's all I ask from everyday food. Good job!
Holy moly if you are in the area stop and eat here! First of all, the service and the staff were AWESOME. Second, the food was great and the portions we're huge! I stopped in on a detour because traffic was so bad, but I will definitely make it a stop on my route next time I'm in town! Also, decor made my heart swell. Eat here!
