Green Tree in Greenwood,Seattel is a best Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant. We ordered Soup, appetizers, Sandwiches, pancake with fresh herbs and fresh lemonade, Thai tea and ice coffee. All are delicious. Food and their services are very good. It is one of the best Vietnamese food place. The pancake was crispy and with the fresh garden herbs. The vermicelli in the soup bowl is fresh and the portions are great. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian noodles are very good. Definitely it’s a family place to have your delicious food.
To go review: Got food here a couple times and it's always satisfying Vietnamese dishes. Their pho is better than most places around the area so that's a huge plus. I just can't bring myself to give 5 stars when they messed up my order and forgot an item. I had to go back and get it and there wasn't any compensation for their mistake. So make sure to check your order before you leave. Food: 7/10 Value: 7/10
Nice food. Amazing service. We had 12 people, which doesn’t fit any tables, and they helped us organizing and combining 4 tables to sit all of us. The noodle soup is awesome, beef is nice, and rice are well cooked in Chinese/Thai style. The spring rolls are above average and may need more veges/spices in the future. We tried the Thai tea, which is good. We didn’t try other drinks or desserts.
I've lived nearby for years but hadn't visited Green Tree before. Now I know what I was missing. The fresh rolls were Divine, light, crsipy, really fresh and not chewy at all. The sauce was great too. Our mains of brisket pho, Kung pao beef noodles and curry were all great. The plates were perfect to Share family style. I'll be back. Remember to ask for the Vietnamese coffee Hot if you want it like that. Ours was good butbcame iced for some reason.. Not my winter fave. Otherwise all was great service and yummy.
Cute little place we found. It has a sketchy parking area in the back, and not accessible from the back. We are lucky to have a spot open up by the side of the road to park. Moderate wait time. The appetizer, deep fried shrimp roll, was warm and very crispy; I really like the sauce that came with it. I like my chinese noodles beef chow fun, though I think they can season it a little more. My husband likes his pho as well.
Oh my gosh, I have a new favorite soup. I ordered a grilled chicken and vegetables rice noodles soup, and it was so freaking delicious. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. At some point I was already full but I didn’t want to leave anything on my plate, seriously it was so good, I definitely see myself going back for more. The service was as good as expected and because I went on a weekday at noon, the place had just a few people
If you are in the north end, Green Tree in Greenwood is a MUST When it comes between supporting a local spot vs. fast food - I'll wait the 1.5 hours, nursing half a week old protein bar, until I get to a legit spot. And that's pretty much what happened I came back from a trip recently. And it was SO worth the wait. Honestly, some of the beeeest vietnamese food I've had in awhile. The pancake was deliciously crispy and with the whole garden of herbs/greens to go with it - it felt fresh and not heavy. The vermicelli bowl is *chefs kiss*. Portions are great but don't be surprised if you demolish it because it's kinda hard to stop. The reviews on this place rave about the pho and vegetarian options too. Definitely a hidden little gem!
My pho was pretty good. The only drawback was the fact that the noodles were a little overdone. The vermicelli bowl was the real star of the show
Their bun bo hue is one of my favorite in Seattle. Reasonably pricing and good flavor. Other food on the menu is pretty good. I come here every other week just to get their BBH.
Great place on a rainy day. Had their chicken phó to-go, came with generous toppings. Broth was great, chicken a bit dry. Would come back to dine-in. excellent waitstaff.
