I am disgusted and disappointed with the treatment of animals in this business! They are placed in tiny cages, that allow very minimal movement. The cages are then placed directly beside one another on crowded small tables, that allow for undisciplined children to harass and poke at them. The area is definitely not supervised. Being such a large and accomplished business, you would assume that they would use their space appropriately. All they seem to care about it selling products and making money, and clearly view animals with the same midset. I will definitely no longer support such a cruel and money hunger business!

I've been getting my two rescue dog groomed by Stephanie for almost three years now. The entire staff has helped me care for all SIX of my animals ever since I moved to Barrie. Their knowledgeable employees gave me enough information that I was able to save my egg-bound turtle who I was told was male. I am a lifetime customer for sure!!!!

I have been going to Petsmart for many years. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable on all of their products. I recently rescued a Leopard Gecko and have been going there for my crickets. The crickets are well kept care of, so they live a long time and are active enough that my gecko shows interest. The Petcare staff are always very helpful with all of my questions and you can tell they have so much love for the animals they're in charge of caring for. I read another review pertaining to how there were many cages on the tables. I learnt that Petsmart accepts in animals from the OSCPA and adopts them out for the center. This table is busy at times because of all the small animals being dropped off at the shelter, that they become overwhelmed and give many to Petsmart. There is limited petcare space, hence why the little ones have to be on shared tables. I also bring my dog to the grooming salon and she is always treated so well, and comes out looking beautiful. She is a very curious and chatty dog, so I'm always so impressed by the way they work with her! I will always recommend Petsmart to anyone.

Staff seems pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Only really shop here because of pet perks, wouldn’t be worth it without their perks program.

We recently became the owners of a long hair cat. Our previous cats had all been short hair and we never had any issues. With our new cat Barry, he has a lot hair to deal with. Thankfully Jasmine, is a wonderful cat groomer and has a special connection with cats and Barry loves coming to see her to get a good brushing and clean up.
