Peters' Drive-In

Peters' is an absolute must if you're visiting the city. It's a Calgary institution and always a great treat. With such an amazing reputation, you're going to spend some time in line, but not to worry, the professional staff here (who dress in scrubs) know how to keep the line moving and your wait times low. Huge portions are a staple of the Peters' experience and one small fry order will easily satisfy two people. Try the lemon milkshake! It sounds weird, but it's a winner!

Really love their shakes and ice-creams. The price is reasonable. Either you pay with cash or debit, no credit card option available. Normally there is lineup in drive through but usually the max wait time is 15 minutes unless other than a few exceptions. Quality, quantity and taste are all great. I especially like their Oreo coffee shake. Staff is always courteous and friendly.

Hadn't been to Peter's drive in for years as we live out of town. Was going by and was hungry so pulled in and had a double burger and onion rings...was awesome. And filling...more rings then anywhere... likely 3 times what u get at A&W...and better

Peters' is an important staple of the road-trip through Calgary. It's top-quality milkshakes, family size fries and good hamburgers are unquestionably good and a much needed relief from a long drive. There are few things that bring me happiness the way a good milkshake on the road does. If you're driving through Calgary, I would fully recommend a stop.

I was raised in Southern Alberta and we would always make a trip to Peters' Drive-In when we were visiting Calgary. I now live thousands of kilometers away but every time I fly into Calgary I head to Peters for the great food at a great price. It's become a family tradition!
