Peters' Drive-In

Absolutely loved my visit to this spot. The hand-cut fries were cooked to perfection and had that classic, authentic taste you just cannot beat.nnThe milkshake was incredibly creamy and hit the spot. It is honestly the perfect treat for a quick drive. I will definitely be back for more soon.

I haven't been to Peters in a couple of years and I noticed that the menu boards renew which likely means new pricing because I don't see any new products. $7.50 for a milkshake that just comes out of a machine seems awfully hi to me. Also I know the family freeze is a small grocery bag but at almost $14 I was really taken aback. Even gravy was $3.50 which is difficult to justify when you consider it a little more than cornstarch and water. Regardless I enjoyed my single burger but those prices I won't be returning anytime soon.

This is honestly the best milkshake I have ever had in my life. It was thick, creamy, smooth, and full of flavour without being too heavy. You can really taste the quality of the ice cream, and the texture was absolutely perfect.nnWhen I used to live in Edmonton, Peters’ Drive-In and Made by Marcus were always the two famous Calgary names people talked about when it came to ice cream and milkshakes. After finally trying Peters’ Drive-In myself, I completely understand why it has such a reputation. It is simple, classic, and genuinely excellent.nnThe portion is generous, the flavour options are brilliant, and the whole experience feels properly iconic. I would absolutely come back again and recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Calgary. Five stars without hesitation.

Went to Peter's for the first time,nnWe enjoyed the fun experience of a traditional drive in. Unfortunately they dont offer drive in service in your vehicle.nnThere was a big line up, but the staff got through it quickly. Everyone was polite and the food was great.nnWe shared a triple cheese burger and two milkshakes and fries between two people. It was the perfect amount to be satisfied without being overly full.nnChoose 3 flavors for the milkshake was awesome.nnThanks for being open. See you next time.

Fresh hot food. It's been years. The price of a milkshake is now 7.25. It's super think but pretty tasteless. Great treat but wouldn't rush back.
