Choosing a cake & a good bakery for a special ocassion anniversaries is always tough. It's more tough when you're based out of the bakery's location. I am from India, and after much research, I came across Pesteh Bakery's site on google.  I'm glad I got this reference. I ordered their signature cake, Pistachio Cake. And it was impeccable. The taste was just heavenly as described by my sister and brother-in-law for whom I had ordered.  Thank you Pesteh Bakery.  To all the people who have sweet-tooth, I suggest to try out their cakes. One of the best bakery, I would say.

This post is long overdue, but after another amazing experience, I wanted to highlight Pesteh Bakery as a hidden gem in Ajax.  I randomly came across Pesteh while searching for diabetic-friendly cakes for my parents. My mom makes amazing cakes herself, but has never been able to enjoy them since she's diabetic.  Mary the owner of Pesteh uses diabetic-friendly sugar substitutes for her cakes and they are delicious! I highly recommend the sugar-free chocolate velvet and pistachio cakes. She makes regular cakes too, of course, but this is a great gift for the diabetics or health-conscious loved ones in your life!  The prices of sugar-free cakes are a little higher than regular cakes, but I find them very reasonable especially considering the cost of the sugar substitutes and the health benefits. I look forward to the day where healthy ingredients cost less than unhealthy ingredients!  I'd also like to add that Mary's customer service and cleanliness are top-notch! Highly recommend.

I only have great things to say about Pesteh Bakery. The cake for my daughter's wedding was out of this world. Such a beautiful cake. We have never tasted such delicious cake. The only request the bride had of the event to take the cake leftover home. Thank you so much for making my daughter's wedding day more than special. Love from our family.

A month or so back someone posted about Pesteh Bakery stating there were zero posts about them in this facebook Durham Region Eats group. I happened to be starting my hunt for a cake/baker in this group so I kept them in mind and so glad I did! They are a family owned bakery based in Ajax and they make beautiful and delicious cakes. I ordered their signature pistachio cake and they were very accommodating to my requests for my mom’s 75th birthday. They delivered it since I’m also in Ajax and it was absolutely stunning!! My whole family was impressed with both the design and taste. Not too sweet or heavy and just so elegant with the rose pedals and crushed pistachios on top. Plus the additional roses!  Thank you for a beautiful and delicious cake!

The cake was amazing! Moist and just the perfect level of sweetness. The ordering process was easy, cake was baked fresh, ready on time and Mary was such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you again!

Chocolate cake has always been my first choice when choosing a cake. The chocolate velvet cake from Pesteh Bakery was the best and most exciting cake I have ever tried. This wonderful cake was my birthday present from Pesteh Bakery. To all people who love chocolate cakes, I suggest to try this beautiful and delicious cake.

The Cake was super delicious. It was moist with just the right amount of sweetness ,and was so yummy. They were kind enough to accept my order on short notice and all my requests were accommodated too. The cake turned out to be better than we imagined and was a treat for the eyes! I'm so glad I came to Pesteh for our cake. Will definitely be hitting these guys up for all our future needs!!

I found pesteh bakery in google and so glad i did. Mary is so amazing at making what you ask and oh my god, the taste of her cakes are utterly delicious!!!! I had asked for a customized cakesmash cake with flavour Confetti cake with vanilla buttercream . It looked so pretty and was exactly what i asked for and it tasted delicious. I ordered one more cake with her signature pistachio cake and it was soooo good that i wil definitely order more. Thanks Mary for beautiful and delicious cakes.!!

We ordered Pesteh Bakery’s Pistachio Cake for a party and everyone absolutely loved it. Not only was it very elegant, it was also moist and delicious! It had a very unique flavour that had guests asking for more. The bakery was very responsive and customer service was great. Ordering and paying was super easy. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Mary goes above and beyond to deliver the best possible cakes. Made this lovely cake for my wife’s birthday! Everyone loved it, the nuts inside are a touch of class!
