Dimpflmeir's is a bakery that sells a variety of breads. From whole wheat loaves to jelly filled doughnuts. This store sells its goods at a cheap price. We ended up buying a bunch of sweets because they were only $1.25 each. Most of their prices are up to par to, if not better than, stores like FreshCO and No Frills. However, Dimpflmeir's quality is much better than the latter. Shelly, the cashier there, was cheery and very helpful. Definitely someone to make your visit plesant. If you want something specific you need to order it 24hrs ahead, so make sure to call before you go!

Yum! Extremely delicious picked up a few goodies and the best part was that they have a huge selection of gluten free products, I have to be extremely cautious for my son and his intolerance, and couldn’t be happier with the help I received when I was there! My son loved the gluten free cake we bought him definitely recommend!

I am so glad this cafe/bakery opened in the neighbourhood. Been told the coffee is great but I have not tried it yet. Wonderful selection of breads and all super fresh. I will no longer buy bread in the grocery or big box stores. The staff are very helpful and great to deal with. If you need a special order like 50 dinner roles, they will take care of you. And if you like to listen to a good German polka, then plan to stay and have a coffee. I really enjoy my trips to the cafe.

Dimpflmeier 's has been baking authentic German style breads and pastries for over 60 years. Quality is unmatched in North America. Klosterbrot Monastery rye bread is my personal favourite. Danish pastries are awesome.

My wife discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, bought a loaf of rye and two large rum balls for me.  They told my wife they are "delivered daily".  The bread was truly not fresh, on the verge of stale.  The rums also had a refrigerator/stale taste - but edible couldn't throw these out. Anyway on Jan. 24th I was in the area, decided to discover for myself - sad, no rum balls, but I purchased two rye loaves, dark and sour dough, 4 loose bagels, and a poppy seed roll.  All were stickered or tagged with best before Jan. 31st.  Again, all were on the stale side... really really disapointed!   Even grocery store purchased has nice moisture in the bread... these were indeed stale.  I am suspicious that these products might be recycled from other locations and re- 'best before' labeled.  Disappointed and will not return.

Love the salted and the cinnamon sugar covered soft pretzels. Friendly staff and the store is always clean and organized. Great place to get German baked goods.

This place is amazing.  I was surprised to find my favorite bread rogenbrot.  I bought the last bags and it was affordable.  Wishing the staff a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Shelly was the best !!! I had heard of this place from my kids because it's there go to place for lunch.  Student budget I came in grabbed one of everything to satisfy the kids...and she made it amazing experience. I'll be back!!

First time in the store, so glad they had my Schinkenbrot, Berliner doughnuts, pretzels any size. I will be back. And the staff is really nice

Great selection of breads..I tried the basic whole wheat bread..it tastes great...also tried mango and peach pastry..highly recommended..try NOT to go during closing time as many things may not be available things are going fast hahahah...A great bakery shop in Ajax-Pickering area.
