A delightful little cafe with delicious food and coffee. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place, it is always a great experience and will put a perk in your step especially in the winter months :-).

First experience: I stopped into Perks before going on a long road trip, I walked in and ordered a coffee but i was told they were closed. Although there were still customers inside eating and drinking. I left without coffee and was a little upset. 

Second experience: My girlfriend and I stopped in a few weeks later to get breakfast (I double checked to make sure they were open) and we ordered to go. We live 2 minutes away. When we got home everything was cold and soggy. The coffee tasted weird and had no flavor. Will not be returning for a third time. There are much better places in the Elmwood area.

They have good local coffee and amazing vegan food!! They offer gluten free wraps and baked goods as well. It's a good spot for the neighborhood. A little on the pricey side but better than most other local places.

This trendy cafe situated in the heart of buffalo has a wonderful vibe the best shakes and delicious but unnecessarily pricey food. All in all, a great place to sit back sip some concoctions play board games, laugh, chat, have a first date, etc. However, being situated in the center of a college town, they lack wifi, almost an essential these days. To make matters worse, they falsely advertise saying they have wifi, but really they tell customers to grab the TWC wifi that allows guests to access for 1 hour. Unfortunately, this does not meet the demands of most student's curriculum. Do not come here to study. But come here to play. Would have given them 5 stars if not for that minute but necessary caveat.

Good food, and atmosphere, but missingbthe essential ingredient of wifi, albeit they suggest ripping TWC wifi for an hour, lost a ton of work due to this inconvenience.
