Palms Shawarma & Mediterranean Cafe

A bit pricey, but the food was great! We (2 adults) got the family platter and had enough leftovers to make another meal out of it. However I do not think we were given enough pita bread with our meal and another piece costs a dollar each! That being said, the owner (I assume) was very welcoming, attentive and helpful to us. Even offering us a few free desserts at the end of our meal.

A very welcoming environment with excellent customer service from this family owned and run restaurant. Beautiful ambience with flavourful food. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants around the area so ignore the noise that some are making about the food being expensive. I'm giving 4 stars because their platters could use a slightly bigger portion size. I would surely revisit and recommend it to family & friends. And yes! If you love coffee these guys have a pretty good variety of coffee with pleasing tastes.

I have had a lot of Shawarma in my life-these are at the top of my list!! Great flavour, great people!! Tried it on the thin wrap(don’t remember the name), better than a regular Pita for sure. Would definitely come back.

The food was decent but the customer service was TERRIBLE. Got in there after a long day of running around Niagara, and asked the chef to give us a family platter, and he's like you need to pay for it now. Fine.... No problem... I had to wait for the owner to come out to put the order in "system", i told him to give me the family platter, he's like do you want anything else, I'm like just that for now I'll let you know if I need anything else, and he's like oh let me know now so I can put it in the "system". All this time, he still didn't have the chef put the food on the grill. BAD. Afterwards when we got the hummus and salad, we ate all the pita bread (2 pitas) and I asked the chef for more. Rather than just give me extra bread, he had to go get the owner to come take the order. Owner asked me "how many pita bread do you want so I can add it to the system?". WHAT THE??? since when do restaurants charge for extra pita bread????? Never have I seen this happen. And whats even more upsetting is that I had to wait, the chef couldn't just give me the pita...no. bad service. And for those wondering, we got charged $1+tax per pita bread.

Wow the shawarmas here are the best we have had in a long time!! There was a mix up at first with our food as one young lad wasn’t there when we order and got us confused with another order but the other customers also did not say anything, but the owners apologized and gave us some amazing pastries 😁 We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to the falls 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
