Jethro's BBQ Steak n' Chop

Great BBQ, great sides, good cornbread muffin (great if it's served warm) Meats are smoked slow so they get plenty of that Smoky flavor. They cook their pulled pork so even the fat melts in your mouth. They grill their green beans, so they are smoky too. Their Mac n cheese is creamy. Their jalepeno cream corn has a good kick to it. Usually I don't care for any bread at a good BBQ place (and this is a good one) but their cornbread muffins are sweet and moist. They're just the thing to help put the fire out if you get in to the hot BBQ sauce too much (which is easy to do because it's delicious)

Ask server if ribs were Baby Back or St Louis style? Server said St Louis style.... They were Baby Back. If I would have know that when I was ordering, I would ordering something else!! They need to train their servers so they know what there talking about!!! And for the prices, mashed potatoes and gravy portions should be bigger, and same with beans and corn muffins. The chances of me coming back are slim!!! My son got Brisket platter, brisket was greasy and not much flavor, and mac and cheese was bland.

Jethro's is a very good choice for sports bar type fare. The food is always delicious. The service is always great. This was our first visit to this location and it was every bit as good as the others.

Really good food! We had a server named Mikki that was fun to talk to. She made some recommendations that were good. Lots of food. Decent portions, lots and lots of choices. Had a drink called a Crawfish....very tasty. Would recommend to go here, plus it is open a bit later than most places.

Great barbeque joint. Plenty of seating during busy hours. Brisket and pork belly was amazing. All of the sauces were good as well. Good BBQ for Iowa.
