Penny’s Hot Chicken

Waffle fries where awesome. The chicken sandwich was decent. The pickles where bread and butter and added a nice sweet tang and with the creamy coleslaw they took away some of the heat from the sauce. The chicken itself was big, almost too big to bite into and very stringy so you had to pull it away from the sandwich to get it to break off. It also had some fatty parts which I was ok with but some might not like. Because this sandwich is so big it is very sloppy to eat and I got sauce all over my hands and mouth so it would have been nice from a customer service standpoint to add some napkins to the bag. Luckily I had couple in the car from another place. Overall it was a decent sandwich for $14.95 it was priced well.

Penny’s Hot Chicken has great burgers, chicken tenders and sides. I like that you can make them as spicy as you’d like and it’s good value for the quantity and quality. Their classic sandwich is a good option, and if you want something a little sweeter the Sweet Daisy is great I’d recommend get it spicy as well to balance the sweetness. The tenders are also a good as well as the sides. The Mac and cheese bites and waffle animal style fries are amazing.

Ordered the sandwich plate Sweet Daisy, 1 side, 1 sauce and loved it! The sandwich was sweet and delicious, although quite messy to bite into. Highly, highly recommend the waffle fries which were super fresh and crispy. The atmosphere was a bit crowded, but the price was reasonable at around ~ $17. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5

I tried the Penny’s Classic sandwich with the Hot spice level and it was scrumptious and not hot for me! It was my first time trying Nashville hot chicken style and I enjoyed it a lot! In addition, I had the loaded fries which were very tasty. The servings for both the sandwich and loaded fries are also pretty big.

Pretty good meals here. The chicken sandwiches are top notch, the waffle fries are pretty good too. Haven't gone through a ton of the menu but I've been enjoying myself so far. A tad pricy but not as bad as some places. Will be back to try a few more thing before I settle on a final opinion.

Penny’s makes absolutely delicious spicy fried chicken! A lot places don’t get spiciness/hotness correct, but this place does. I ordered very hot and it was what I expected. I will definitely go back for more.

Holy smokes this place is amazing. I have been hearing great things about it and decided to grab some chicken. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a chicken tenders box with 4 tenders and it came with sauce, pickles and a slice of white bread. I went with spice level 4 and it was just perfect, hits the spot without making you see Satan. The Mac and cheese wedges are legit the same as you’ll find in theatres, simple and comforting. Their banana pudding is really really good. Over all made a great meal for two hungry adults, the tenders are massive and the meat quality is superior. The prices are a bit steep but for the quantity seems ok.

15$ combo meal review: Quantity is good, with a large sandwich and plenty of fries. The waffle fries are pretty good, but the comeback sauce isn't that great. The sandwich itself is so meh, the chicken isn't that flavourful. The spice level is pathetic, I got a 6 spice out of 7, and it was barely medium heat.

3rd time getting Pennys and is great experience again. The only thing that sucks is for $20 meal no drink sandwich & fries +tax. Flavourful, crunchy, waffles fries are great and sauce is pretty decent.

Their chicken sandwiches are always fresh and well-seasoned, never disappoints. For $17 it’s a bit pricey but great value. Tender meat and crispy waffle fries!
