Here at Penny Pinchers we pride ourselves on providing great customer service and a friendly atmosphere for our customers. We offer quality new and used products at affordable prices. Our store is located at 800 Fortune Drive in North Kamloops (on the corner of 8th & Tranquille).


Penny Pinchers is over 16,000 square feet and we average 2,000 items every weekday, that equals 10,000 Used, New & Vintage Items onto the shelves every week!

We also pride ourselves on the facts that our store is GREEN!!...

** Green Living: Penny Pinchers is your Ultimate Green Shopping Store. Optimum recycling; Clothing that does not make it onto the retail floor is baled and shipped to third world countries - average yearly shipment over 100,000 lbs of clothing!
Products are recycled whenever possible including clear glass, cardboard, computer equipment, plastic bags and even plastic containers.

** New items that are purchased to sell in Penny Pinchers are always manufactured in Canada or the US with priority to local manufactured items. We never purchase products made outside of North America.

** How we get our Merchandise:
We get most of our merchandise through Donations from people in our local community. Donations work in two ways - either Dropping by our Store location or calling to arrange for a pick-up.

** Donations can be dropped off at our back loading dock to the right of our Main Entrance. between the hours of 9:00am and 4:30pm, seven days a week! We offer a 50% off Clothing Coupon for Donations of 3 large bags or more.

** NEED US TO PICK UP YOUR DONATION?

Penny Pinchers owns a 5 ton cube van that picks up donations locally on Tuesdays. We offer a 50% off Clothing Coupon for Donations. Please contact us at 1-250-376-4131 and we will be happy to help! Note: Items to be accepted are at the discretion of our Penny Pincher's drivers.

** ITEMS WE GLADLY ACCEPT:

Clothing, Housewares, Pictures, Movies, Video & board games, Pet Accessories, Electric Household Items, Furniture (No Stains, Rips, No used Mattresses), Appliances, Sportswear – including Skis, Rollerblades, Tennis Rackets, Canoes, Camping & Fishing Equipment, Jewellery, Linens, Books (old and new), Footwear, Toys, various Construction/Hardware Material and anything else that is clean and in good working condition! Thank you for your understanding!

** ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT:
- Flammable products
- Any Large Appliance (Apartment size are accepted for some items), Large freezers, Fridges, Stoves, Washers and Dryers
- Items that have been recalled
- Car Seats: Car seats must meet the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. Before selling a used car seat, check with Transport Canada (1-800-333-0371 or www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety) for more information and to find out if the car seat has been recalled.
- Cribs: Cribs must come with information that identifies the manufacturer, model number, date of manufacture, and assembly instructions. Cribs made before September 1986 do not meet current safety standards and are illegal to sell under Canadian law.
- Baby Walkers: Baby walkers have been illegal to sell in Canada since April 2004.
- Cosmetics: Used, old, or damaged cosmetics should never be sold.
Note: Items to be accepted are at the discretion of our drivers or team here at Penny Pinchers. Certain items simply cannot be taken and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
